  1. *Official* Pedro to Chelsea

I feel more confident when he plays than when Willian plays. He's always been the better player between the two and is more dangerous in the final 3rd and offers superb long range shooting. Should start against Barcelona with Morata and Eden.
  2. Eden Hazard

Hazard will leave in the summer. He has bigger ambitions than what we're offering at this point. He's never been the kind motivated by money. He already has a lot of that.
  3. Tiémoué Bakayoko

His signing continues to boggle the mind. As I posted in earlier pages on here, he offers nothing but supreme redudancy. He offers nothing in attack. His awereness is woeful. He can't score goals. He can't make forward, incisive passes. He can't make quick, intuitive decisions on the ball. He rarely hustles back when he gets blown by by an opposition player. Bakayoko has never been an enterprising player. He's been a destroyer all of his career and he's not as good as Kante at that. He's never going to learn any of those other traits I mentioned. Kante is the far superior defensive midfielder. So what exactly is the point of 'em? I'm seriously wondering. Why exactly did our board sign him and what was their thinking behind it. On what planet is it a good idea to pair both Kante and Bakayoko together in a midfield 2 or seek to change from the 3-4-3 which brought us success last season to an untried 3-5-2 which is only sensible for matches against the big 6 or against the Champions league's best? Now Bakayoko's signing would have made some sense if he was actually a 15 million back up squad player to bolster our midfield from the bench. But he's supposed to be a 40 mil starter. This is absolute madness what is going on at this club.
  4. Antonio Conte - Now Officially Manager

So right now we have a situation were there has been a drastic change in our transfer policy. In order for us to buy we must spend but there's only a certain amount of money we can generate from sales. Conte has been too worried about how much he desires to spend in the market . Losing 7-1 against Bournemouth and Watford back to back is beyond appalling, its unacceptable. He's been too busy casting envious glances at Guardiola and forgot how to coach his team. Besides, him staying now makes no sense as all bridges have been burned and the club is unwilling to give him the finances in the transfer market he craves. Well news flash. This isn't 2005 anymore. Roman simply cannot compete with what the Manchester clubs have financially. We need a complete overhaul of our mentality and approach. This club needs a young, enteprising manager that prioritizes attacking football and our youth team that will fit in with our new model of selling to buy. Even if its a risk, its a risk worth taking. I'm just fed up of watching dire, horrid "football" while some of our rivals with supposedly lesser resources play much better than us. We've been subjected to some really negative managers in this Abramovich Era and doesn't have to be like that. We have a stadium we want to expand. Its counter-intuitive expanding your stadium when you could be looking down the barrel of two champions league-less seasons in 3 years. It's sad to see when you look across and you see Spurs with Kane, Alli and Dier as established members of the XI while we are still in the stage of a "5 min there" and "injury time here" with our youth team players. All this despite them winning back to back UEFA youth league titles and countless FA cups. Any other club would have capitalized on that opportunity. We by contrast don't know what the f*** we're doing. So I suggest we go for a Jardim , Tuchel or Nagelsmann. Young managers known for coaching attacking football and bringing in youth. Give the new manager an opportunity to implement an identity and attacking style of play. Till this day we're the only big club without an identity. We just rely on our outstanding individual player (Drogba, Lampard, Hazard) to win us games. Get the new manager in and give him the reigns and let him oversee the Stamford Bridge expansion. Jardim is my 1st choice.
  5. Next Chelsea Manager

Diego Simeone will only bring horrible football to this club. His football is uglier than Mourinho's. Surprised people are voting for him. I want Jardim as my 1st choice then Tuchel.
  6. Does the board know how fans feel ?

I'm surprised by some of the responses. The OP asked a geniune question. I think most of us can agree that our board is really bad and have undermined all our title winning managers to varying degrees in recent years by failing to build on title success.
  7. Conte In? Or Conte Out?

If he doesn't make top 4 this season I see no reason for him to remain any longer. His football is not sensational and its clear as long as he's here he's not going to get his targets. Our board has done everything within their power to undermine him like they did with previous managers after they won the league.
  8. Tiémoué Bakayoko

Even David Luiz is not really that. He doesn't have the same calm and composure about him as a real CM would. We're one of the richest clubs in the world and just spent 40 mil on Bakayako ffs. Why can't we do our homework and sign a proper CM after all these years since Lamps? Maxime Gonalons in the games against Roma thoroughly outplayed our midfielders. Why can't we go for someone like that? What happened to our scouting network?
  9. Antonio Conte - Now Officially Manager

Another black mark on Conte's record that has been beat to death already is that he never plays or trusts youth players. Whether its Loftus-Cheek, Chalobah, Musonda, Ake. All he wants to do is spend, spend, spend. Well guess what, this isn't 2005 anymore. Those days of Roman's largesse are long gone. The only time he plays young players is in the dying minutes of games or when he has no other choice to do so. The only reason he's playing Christensen is because he fell out with Luiz and Christensen had already gotten his experience in Germany. Conte is not a risk taker at all and has no faith in our academy. Another black mark is the awful football. I can count on one hand the amount of games I've enjoyed watching this season. If Conte was able to produce the football a Klopp is doing with Liverpool rn, even if we were 4th, we will chuck it down as a transitional season. There will be very very few complaining. So again it's the same complaints we had under Mourinho. I long for the day in this so-called Abramovich Era we can have a manager that produces attacking football and has a positive, proactive approach to every game. That doesn't react to the opposition but instead tries to impose an attacking style of play on them. I'm tired of defending deep, counter-attacks and sporadic forays into the opposition box in big games. I'm bored to death of watching sh*te football. I'll rather we finished 4th, played good football and integrated our academy players with meaningful game time.
  10. Tiémoué Bakayoko

He's an average player and ultimately redundant with Kante in the side. A Kante partner has to combine the physical aspect with great technique and an ability to make quick, forward incisive passes and quick decisions on the ball. Chipping in with goals is also a bonus. Bakayoko has none of these qualities and it's not even his fault. Anyone who watched him in Monaco already knew it. He's a terrible fit for us whether it's a 3-5-2 or a 3-4-3. He's awful in either one as he lacks any sort of creativity, passing skills, goal threat and is an average defensive midfielder compared to Kante. Why our board decided to prioritize his signing is truly beyond me and further speaks to their grotesque incompetence. The only thing he has going for him is that he's still young but Kante's presence at the club and Bakayoko's skill set casts a shroud of mystery as to his future as a CFC player. You just don't wake up and all of a sudden become a good playmaker and a capable goal-scorer having shown zero signs to ever be that at age 23.
  11. Antonio Conte - Now Officially Manager

Oh please. So all of a sudden it's a coincidence that we are now going for so many players from Serie A? From what I understand and read somewhere, Conte identifies the type of player he wants and the board present him with a list and they work together to go for players in that list. I don't believe for a second he has absolutely zero say in any part of the transfer process.
  12. Antonio Conte - Now Officially Manager

Abramovich was the one who scouted Emerson, Zappacosta, Rudiger (solid so far) and Alonso from Serie A? Abramovich was the one desperate for Bakayoko? C'mon. Conte has infiltrated our squad with garbage from Serie A and mediocre footballers.
  13. Antonio Conte - Now Officially Manager

We still don't have the ideal partner to pair next to Kante. That complete central midfielder that combines the technical and physical aspect and can make quick forward passes. Spurs have it in Dembele. City have tons of them. Bakayoko and Fabregas are obviously NOT the answer. This is just simple basic sh*t our board continues to blunder in.
  14. Antonio Conte - Now Officially Manager

He is a dead man walking, rightly or wrongly. Simple as.
  15. We Need a Change in Formation.

He won't play a 3-4-3. He won't play a 4 at the back system despite the fact David Luiz is no longer in his team
