Chelsea V Arsenal (PL) Sat 18th Aug 17:30 UK

That was great.... End to end stuff, we played some of the best football we've played in years IMO, I love it. More of the same for me please.

    Tiémoué Bakayoko

I honestly can't remember when I've been so relieved to see someone leave us.... I'll not whinge about the money, as it isn't mine !! Hopefully Milan will buy and we'll get shot, he is one of the worst players to wear our shirt, which is unbelievable considering how he was for Monaco. Anyways... onward and upwards with Barkley and RLC..
  3. Can't do any more really in such a short space of time. Well done Sarri & Zola, and well done the lads. Great win and as they say... Things can only get better !!!

    Rate our transfer window

I'm happy overall. I think we would have Willian go if Manure were willing to let us have Martial (IMO) so keeping him until a suitable younger replacement comes along was sensible. The Rat face scenario was out of our hands and I feel the club dealt with it OK. I never for one second thought we'd lose Kante, but Eden was a worry.. Phewww. The signings look on the face of it good additions, a quality keeper on a super long deal, Sarri's choice of playmaker (showing the club DOES support the manager), and the exciting potential of the Croation lad (I'm sure there is a clause somewhere in the loan deal giving us first refusal at a certain price) All in all, we ain't done bad, could suprise a few after the first few weeks of bedding in are done.

    Eden Hazard

Get real fellas.. He will have as much sway in RM's transfer policy as every other player who's said I'd like this or that team mate here with me... A big fat Zero !! And, if he doesn't get off to a flyer they'll turn on him due to his past allegiances very quickly. I really hopes it all goes to Rat sh*t for him, no need at all to disrespect a club that made him world class and oh a couple of Prems and other trophy's too.. Utter Tosser, good riddance.

    Eden Hazard

It's been many years since Chelsea sold players to perceived bigger teams just for the money, we just don't do it. We leave that to Spuds, Arse and victimpool. If the club don't get what they want for Hazard he will stay and see out his time with us. Which will have been 8-9 yrs... An awful lot more than the aforementioned clubs kept any of their star players.

    Alvaro Morata

I watched the game from up in the gods on the halfway line so had a good overall view of the way the game went. I cannot remember a player ever having less touches in a game, all he did was jog over to one side...... then jog over to the other. The amount of times he was overtaken by someone from the left and right to press their back four was embarrassing. Despite the lack of service he did nothing to help himself, he was just... Pitiful.

    *Official* Pedro to Chelsea

I've always liked Pedro, since he joined he's put 100% in every time he plays, scored some cracking goals for us and you never hear any moaning when he's not in the starting 11. Seems to me an alright fella.

    Thibaut Courtois

Spot on.. Trying to paint us in a bad light now at the end of his contract is just a smokescreen, his kids weren't an issue when he was lifting the premier league trophy's. He's just grovelling to Madrid for the future, who the f**k does he think he is telling us we should sell at the price the buying club set as a value !!!! It's OUR value that counts, and if Madrid won't pay tough sh*t, wait a year or sign someone cheaper... simples tch.

It would appear the club wanted to keep him, and he can't be kicking up too much of a fuss probably after speaking the the new manager.

Antonio Conte - Now Officially Manager

Well put... Really I do wonder sometimes at where some loyalties lie. ? I am Chelsea.. end of. Players managers come and go and to a degree so do owners, but the club remains, and that's what I support. People who leave the club with dignity (and are usually well paid) have nothing but my respect... But.... The moment you turn on the club for me that's It. The list of people who I wouldn't piss on if on fire grows, and Conte will soon join that group. He cost us a top 4 spot being spiteful and vengeful towards the club and certain players and I'm afraid that is not only unprofessional but shows a lack of respect towards the club and it's fans.

Is this the end of Roman era at CFC?

    PMSL !!

Is this the end of Roman era at CFC?

This And remember if Chelsea came up for sale the list of wealthy individuals, companies, even countries that would be interested wouldn't see the club fall from grace any time soon.

    Tiémoué Bakayoko

I watch him with angry frustration, and I'll be glad when he's gone, as I see it he's just a liability nothing more.
  15. I feel this way too.. I'm sick to f**king death of Conte whining on about the ambition of the club.. Ambition !! Where was the f**king ambition in that set up today ??? Were like a minnow club going to a big side in the cup, absolutely pathetic. I fast forwarded the game just to see the goals (well goal) as i couldn't bear to watch us play like that. That was dreadful, utterly gutless and if Conte cant pick a side with some intention of winning a game then I for one will not be sorry to see him gone.
  16. chelseablueboy

    Tiémoué Bakayoko

As others have said probably the worst display by a Chelsea player for.. well.... ever !! He's been truly dreadful lately, and I DO blame Conte for continually playing him over Fabregas. Why are we playing TWO defensive midfielders against lower opposition, all that negative play just gives them confidence. We should be going after them from the off, that would on most occasions lead to a goal and most would crumble. I just dont get Conte's negativity, I really don't.
  17. Pedro.. Shameful and embarrassing dive, I wouldn't complain if a panel gave him a 3 match ban, hate to see it and want rid of it from the game. Willian.. WTF !!! Even if the idiot of a ref thinks it's not a pen he should surely have consulted VAR before issuing a booking, Isn't that the whole point of the poxy thing to stop errors and help the ref ?? Morata.. Slight touch on the back and he goes down like he's been shot, which he embarrassingly and whingingly does non-stop throughout the game incidentally , he really needs to cut it out and stand strong. He's not in Spain now where as soon as player goes down a foul is given. THE REF.. Well, If ever there was a 'I don't care how big a team you are I'll show you who's boss' display that was it. It was the perfect example of a 2nd tier ref getting carried away in the moment. Utterly useless tosser. Us in general.. I thought we played as we have in the last few games, slow, lacking in any drive and showing no effort to put teams under pressure until it's too late. We were lucky last night despite the ref. But... We're through so.... f**k them all & up the Chels !
  18. This... If Pedro was good enough last year he's good enough this, we have enough players to rotate away from the really big games and Conte's continual mithering about tiredness is giving players an excuse.. Look at Tibo's interview after the game. The bottom line is we have a striker out of form and our back up is next to useless. I really have no idea why Batman is even considered to be anywhere near top premier league level, his general play is dreadful.
  19. 3 points needed here to keep on the coat tails of Manure.. It could well be a right ding dong battle for second with them.

    Our New Stadium

And like they'd know wouldn't they FFS !!
  21. A Chelsea second string, that have never played together and barely trained as a group i would wager just beat a full strength everton team desperate for a win.... I say well done the young lads and those who don't get regular starts. Can't some just give some credit where it's due, on paper they should have battered us.
  22. As Unsworth is 'interviewing' for the managers job it's no suprise he's picked a full strength side, after all his priorities are the next couple of games !! Going to be hard for us tonight, but win and get some youngsters kudos, and lose and it's no shame against a full strength prem outfit.
  23. That was.. Listless and weak. Who are we, some f**king lower league side trying to sit off and hope for something on the break ???? I'm spitting feathers, that is one of the most pathetic performances I've seen from us in a very long time. I'm ashamed of my team today, they allowed themselves to be totally dominated for 90mins AT THE HOME OF THE CHAMPIONS !!!

    Diego "the guv'nor" Costa

Brilliant post.. Especially love the ''no name on the back is bigger than the badge on the front'' Spot on. He'll never hold a place in my heart like many that have gone before him, can't be doing with anyone that is always blabbing on about wanting to leave !!
  25. chelseablueboy

    Diego "the guv'nor" Costa

Made it plain every year he wanted out, was nothing but trouble, hated his continuous 'niggling' on the pitch.. But.. He was a great goalscorer for us though, and that can't be denied. Overall I think we got the best years out of him, and ended up getting shot of a barrel load of trouble for a 20m profit.. Well done the club.
