  1. Standing by for the pictures of charred remains of Sterling kits. Seriously though, not going to happen and he isn't even worth half of the quoted price.
  2. It's too far fetched to say we lost three managers because of him. We did however let go of a handful of great strikers because of him (not only talking about Sturridge and to a lesser extent Lukaku, but all the ones we could have signed had we not signed Torres). I don't mean to be a cock about it, but a move was the better choice for both parties. I'm glad he chose that road instead of running out his contract like the majority of us thought he would do. Regardless of him being a complete failure here, I wish him nothing but the best, he's a good lad and I'm grateful for his service and contributions however little they may be. The biggest probably being his goal v Barcelona. I think we all supported him throughout his career at the club and I'm pretty sure ALL of us wanted him to do well but I guess it just wasn't meant to be. Good luck Fernando.
  3. Please someone tell me this is really happening.
  4. For all we know Romelu was demanding a place in the first squad and moved somewhere where he can get it. If we did sell him without him forcing a move then either we're bringing in someone else or we don't seem to learn from our mistakes.
  5. Yeah, sell him to Liverpool. It's not like it will come back and bite us in the arse or anything...
  6. If he didn't want to sign a new contract I think it's safe to say he didn't want to stay. Unless he was guaranteed a place in front of Torres. I don't blame him at all, I wouldn't be happy playing second fiddle to Torres either. Bad move by us either way, we should have at least found another club to sell him to. I hope this doesn't end up happening with Moses. The thing that bothers me the most is that I have a bad feeling Lukaku will end up in a similar situation, while we are left off trying to fix our striker problem with yet another waste of big money.
  7. Just give them the trophy already then. Only 4 matches in and they're walking the league apparently. Watching them fall apart will be ever more satisfying this year.
  8. Ridiculous.
  9. Not happy with this at all.
  10. So you'd rather watch him do a few step-overs, take all the defenders down and lose the ball than him contributing for the team and scoring goals?
  11. Did Arsenal offer £24,000,001?
  12. Almost Barcelona-esque. Now, being serious, I think they're likely to let Dzeko go.
  13. Hart Kompany - Zabaleta Yaya T Silva - Nasri - Navas Aguero - Dzeko - Negredo - Jovetic Because defenders are overrated.
  14. You are implying he will stop his c**tishness altogether all of a sudden. You can choose to forget his past, but I can't see how it will work for you when he keeps being a c**t in the present, and most likely the future.
