Is Kakuta serving the 4 month ban now as we speak? I'm not clear on that. He's coming off the broken leg or whatever so if he's got to serve time, might as well be now while he's getting over the injury. I hope that's the case until we get this whole thing dismissed and hand-written apologies by Blatter and Platini.

That is a very good question, which I have also been wondering.

It would seem harsh if he is already suspended before we have even put our side of the case (but who knows with FIFA). :P

He did play or France U17's since the ban was announced, so maybe he is still eligible (or is he only suspended for Chelsea, and not also France?), but I don't think we really know for sure. It would be great to see him on the bench tomorrow.

The DRC rules mandate that it has until 12.00 midnight today (being the 23rd) to provide its reasons for decision to Chels. It will be interesting to see whether FIFA elects to publish the reasons for decision on its website (like it did with the decision). The rules allow for those reasons for decision not to be published at large should the club concerned with/effected by the material decision put in a request to the DRC for same not to be published. I hope and trust that Chels made no such request and that the reasons for decision will be available for all to see. Given the sheer import of the decision, FIFA, imo, will have no alternative but to publish its reasons.
