I don't know too much about this but I read not long ago that a Champions League for youth teams will start in the season 2010/2011. In this first version only 8 teams will be able to play and they are the youth teams of the clubs that reach the quarter finals in the "big" Champions League.
If it's a success they might expand it to 32 teams and it wont matter how far the clubs have gone in the "big" Champions League.
I do hope that we manage to go far this season because I would really like to see our youth team be in this one. Would be fun to see what our youth team can do against teams like Barcelona, Juventus or Real Madrid.
Anyone know more about this?

Didn;t know about this but would love to see it. Would love to see more of our youngsters coming through into the first team and this would surely help that

I can't imagine we'd do particularly well in that if we get to the CL QFs.
It would be good to watch, though.
