what im just wondering about... is kakuta allowed to play because his ban is already over or is it because of chelsea´s general protest against the decision ?

His ban isn't over. Unless CAS judge in our favor Kakuta will have to serve the rest of his ban later on. If I'm not wrong he would be banned for another 10 weeks.
Hopefully we'll get off an he can continue playing or else that we all get a lower sentence so Kakutas ban might only be for a few more weeks.

I'm not sure if that means once we go back into litigation, then Kakuta's playing suspension starts again

I really hope that this wont be the case. I just think banning him from playing is totally ridiculous in general, it helps no one.

He was 15 when we signed him, I dont think that he broke the complex FIFA rules intentionally and I dont think that FIFA should expect players of that age to know there f**king rules anyways.

I really hope that Carlo will give him some chances as soon as this whole story is over.

Good balanced read even though it comes from Goal.com

That is the best piece to come out of Goal.com ever.

Did OK against Blackburn. Looked bright and lively with some good touches. He was very tightly marked (especially after Kalou had to leave the fray) and made a couple of wrong choices (in common with many others on the night) and ran into a couple of blind alleys but looked good and you believed that something might happen everytime he got the ball. He also showed excellent commitment in his defensive work. A solid and promising display.

To all who talk sh*t about Kakuta's poor performance in the match against Blackburn: Are you silly?
It was a good match by Kakuta.

Out of all the kids we should be giving chances a lot to... Kakuta and Matic are the ones we should be giving the last 20 mins to right now. They look like they are both going to be great for our clubs future. I would say Sturridge but to me, now after today he seems like our 3rd striker anyway, i hope he dislodges Kalou when he gets back

Here's what Carlo said about Kakuta " At this age I have never seen one player with his talent......technically he's fantastic...........he still needs to improve his physical quality, though technically he's ready".

out of all the youth players kakuta is our biggest prospect and hopefully will inherit joe cole's number 10 and become a great player for us,

After his first reserve game playing along side team mate Michael Ballack. The German international told journalists. "Go see the French lad, he is the star".

That photo of Benayoun is ridiculous. Kakuta could be one of the most talented players of a generation, a 30 yr old dipper has about as much chance of ruining his career as North Korea have of winning the World Cup.

I'm not a fan of judging players from youtube clips, but 1:15 is the kind of thing that makes you really sit up and take notice.

Gael Kakuta should be on the bench most games. West Brom(h) first game, on the bench but bring him on if we are winning 2-0 or 3-0. He might make it 4-0. He is good enough to be playing first team.
