So I am a Chelsea fan and have been for 8 years. People say I have been since the Abramovich error but the truth is when I first saw Chelsea play back in 2000, I always thought they played good football. However, what would happen if I came to Stamford Bridge for a Chelsea game and tried to get involved? Like singing songs etc? I don't have a clue what it would be like (depending on which stand I am in) as some people emjpy singing and others dont and will just look or laugh at you. But the problem is..I am SCOTTISH! So I know some people will tell me to get to f**k and what not but it is my biggest dream to watch Chelsea from the Bridge but just not sure on how the English supporters would react? I don't have a problem with the English. I prefer Chelsea to my Scottish team and think English will tell me to stick with Scottish team (being serious and slagging me off) but hell, even I can admit..Scottish football is sh*t and has no standards.
Chelse fan...

Welcome Mate,
I've been to a few Chelsea games in my time, and I am Scottish. Never had a problem!
Get yourself down there. Some areas in the West Stand would be decent if you wanted a wee sing along but didn't want to talk to much for fear of being "spotted"
If you want a full on sing along, try get to the Matthew Harding Lower..sometimes the Shed Lower is good too.
If you just want to sit about and applaud nicely, then go to the East Stand.
Anyway, welcome

Welcome to the Shed End Wilson
I always get my tickets in the Matthew Harding lower, cause I like to get vocal and make some noice.
The Shed End also has a good vocal section at times.
East upper is like a funeral, and you might aswell watch the game on TV..
West upper has a section of ST in the first rows and can be vocal.
Upper section of West has a lot of tourists and no atmosphere..
IMO you'll have no problems being scottish.
Being of asian heritage myself I've never encountered any problems.
Have once been called Mr. Samsung at the So Bar, but it was just a bit of banter and no harm intended.
But be sure to learn some songs before you go to a game.
For songs you can go to fanchants.com, there you'll find the lyrics and some soundfiles.
Welcome to this forum and anjoy

Don't blame the yanks, it's because of all of the U.S. marketing by Chelsea and the tours in the U.S. over the past 5 years. I am not a yank, since I live in the deep south, and have good southern roots.

Welcome mate, even though I'm not scottish, i've spent the last 6 years in Scotland and have met several people at matches home and away from up here so it wont be any bother whatsoever... if anything it'll gain you respect and show you're a true supporter by making the long trip to the bridge, that's what I usually get when I say I come from Glasgow!
