another arnesen failure...how much did we pay Leeds for woods and taiwo...wasn't it about £5m? The former has played more for the reserves and got closer to the first team, but I don't think it will be too long before he's on his way too

I think it's quite harsh to blame Arnesen for this. You have to be pretty damn special to make it into the first team, especially if you're a midfielder. We won't have any youngsters properly making a breakthrough into the first team until we have a manager that actually stays at the club for longer than six months.

Sums it up well. Sure the Taiwo/Woods thing was a disaster and will be remembered for how it was mishandled, but youth development is always a crapshoot. We now have youngsters on the verge of the first team, so it aint all bad
