Really good to hear how Stoch is getting on in Holland.

If a few make first team regulars, Arnesen will have done well.

Those craving a signing or two in the January window will cling to these two paragraphs:-

'Carlo has now worked with this group of players for six months, knows all the talent and doesn't want to change anybody with any players from another club so this is good, but we always have to be alert to if there is something coming up in the market or something happening in our own squad that means you have to act. We keep working, keep talking and keep meeting which is our job.

'We have fantastic staff here with Ray Wilkins and Paul Clement on the technical side of it with Christophe Lollichon to take care of the goalkeepers and this in an area that is very well controlled by Carlo. I am in there to be a support in general if something comes up and it can be anything.'

The return of five players from League loans, Jack Cork, Patrick van Aanholt, Jacob Mellis, Liam Bridcutt and Rhys Taylor covers every area except up front, the one we are weakest in whilst the African players are away, and Anelka’s recent injury made that situation even worse. For Franco Di Santo to remain out on loan in such circumstances, especially when precautions have been taken right across the [loaned out] board for defence and midfield, seems odd. Unless, of course, a move in the transfer market is imminent.

"Miroslav is probably the sensation of the Dutch League this year"

::clap2::  that's fantastic, well done Miroslav!
lets hope his hard work pays off when he's back at the bridge, would be great to see him do well.

I've always rated ol' Stochy. Every game he's impressed, and I think his pace and trickery makes him an excellent option for the tip of the diamond. But, master Kakuta will definitely have a say in that. This does make we wonder what we're going to do with it all.

In an attacking sense: Kakuta, Borini, Sturridge, Stoch are all players that have amazing potential and could have blinding careers for us. But, how on earth are we going to fit them all in? The only option I've thought of is the tried and tested 4-4-2, but whether Carlo will revert to that remains to be seen. I really hope that these 4 stay on for the future, they're too good for us to let them go.

In a defensive sense: Matic (DM), Bruma (CB), Hutch (CB/RB) (?), Van Aarnholt (LB), Nana (RB), Bertrand (LB), Bridcutt (DM), Mancienne (CB/DM), Cork (CB). We have choices, yes, but how many of them will actually stay a few years from now, say 5 years for example? I think Bruma, Matic and possibly Bertrand, Nana should be here.

And we'll undoubtedly sign a few players over the next few years too. We have so many youngsters, but barely anywhere to put them all.

When I see Stoch I think of Robben. They seem quite similar. I just hope that Stoch is made of iron instead of glass.

I was thinking his shooting was similar to what Frankie has become known for.

i was interested to see how stoch would do out on loan as he was clearly a talent when in the ressies. but you never know how a young player will cope with the step up to that level, just look at how sinclair has struggled at most of the clubs hes been. but its fantastic to see how well the wee fella has done in holland, and im very excited to see if he will become a part of our first team squad next season (would have been nice to get him back for the 2nd half of this one but its not possible). weve released plenty of young players over the past few years and ive never been too upset to see them go as none of them have really convinced me they could have an impact on our first team. but if we were to let stoch go then i would be seriously gutted.

Ignore the music? Easier said than done! :)

Some excellent goals in that clip, Stoch's looking very good so far with Twente. I'm a bit worried by his goal celebrations though, he'll wear his knees out by the time he returns to the Bridge

I might be nit-picking a little here, but I notice he seems a little selfish in his celebrations. By  that I mean we don't really see him thank his teammates openly with a hug or a pat on the back and such.

Other than that, I think he could be one for the future.
