Wilshere was fantastic tonight. Arsenal's MOTM against a strong Barcelona side.

Would Chelsea ever trust McEachran to start a game against Barcelona at 19? Never in a million years.

The club have to make a decision soon, they can carry on with players that don't have a quarter of his ability on the ball or they should make a plan for him and give him proper playing time. He is 18 soon and isn't much younger than Wilshere but one of them has a manager that sees his ability and is letting him grow into a marvellous player.
The problem with that is until Josh came along we really havent had any 19 year olds good enough to get into our team to play against Barcelona.

It's going to be hard to integrate him into a 4-3-3 because he will need a holding player beside him and that excludes either Lampard or Ramires which probably isn't going to happen.

I'd like to see him perhaps in the hole or maybe in a deep lying player maker situation next to Mikel or Essien with license to spray the ball around. I think he could be fitted into a Torres Drogba 4-4-2 easily enough by perhaps playing a box in midfield with Frank and Essien/Ramires having license to make runs further up the park with Mikel/Essien and Josh left a little deeper to control the play with Josh given a little more time on the ball.

Either way given our current plight in the league that might not be possible or even advisable given the pressure he would be under, but I'd like to think he'll get another start before the end of the year. But I'm sure he won't be worried if he doesn't because he knows he has a long career ahead of him at one of the best clubs in the world. At 17 it's got to be a thrill for him just to be in the first team at a club like ours.
