My god, they are a mess at the moment.
Like I said before, there doesnt seem to be any plan over at Eastlands. I dont see a "spine" of a team forming, and outside of Tevez and Given, I dont really think anyone is guaranteed to start. If they are going to replace players they got just last summer, why didnt they just buy their replacements back then? Its not as if they have won anything since last year. Is there gonna be a whole squad turnover every summer now?
I would take alot more than just Ireland, btw. RSC, Richards, De Jong and Zabaleta are all very serviceable players. Eff Robinho, I dont care how talented he is. What a frigging head case. And if City got an offer that would recoup 50% of their fee, and had the temerity to turn it down, then they deserve what they get.

Apparently Khedira's move to Real Madrid is as good as done.

That one's definitely a Mourinho signing.

GB youre not convinced by this signing? I am of the mind that Madrid at present dont need anyone in the world to make their squad better considering all the class players they have, but we all know Jose loves his utility midfielders.

For sure, and I am sure when Jose goes, the board will sell him asap.

Well .. Khedira is just not good enough to play for Real in my opinion. Very risky move that is for him.

Good ole' David James signs for Bristol City. I figure that he can probably spend a couple season there before retiring.

Would any of the players from the Man City clearout suit us?
I have to admit I'm actually a big fan of Bellamy and think him and Malouda on each wing could work well. Also Stephen Ireland could be a good replacement for both Ballack and Deco IMO
David James signing for City is amazing btw, I used to go and see them most weeks!

After what Bellamy said about Terry last season, I don't think they'll work together.
Not to mention, Bellamy is just about, the biggest douche in the universe.

Bellamy's a pretty good player, but also a massive c**t.

Agreed actually, but he's a lot better than just 'pretty good' IMO

I wouldn't mind Micah Richards. If we can sort his head out he would be immense and is young and English.

Ireland I would take if he was available. Excellent player that just needs a chance to shine. If Milner goes to City, O'Neill will probably try and get him as a makeweight. He would be mad not to try.
Richards I would also take if they are selling. People say his physicality is all that keeps him in the game, but at 22 he certainly has a lot of time to grow.
Kompany would be a fantastic squad player if he is on the outs, very versatile
RSC I would take for a pittance. Despite what people think, I dont think he is a flash in the pan at all. If he stays healthy could be a great bench option.
All that said, I'm sure City would rather give these players away to a foreign club for nothing than sell them to us or any other potential competitor

We're one senior centre half short at the moment and the guy is buyilt like JT except with pace. As I said if we get his head right he would be immense
Richards is a prime example of an athlete as opposed to a footballer. Yet another case of "great physical presence" but NO football brain.
No Thanks.
