It all started so well. I clicked into a couple of threads in this new look forum with no problem but then I encountered the same problems as I have been plagued with for ages. Some threads I can't get access to at all and now I can't even get into the Lounge section at all. I get the page "you do not have permission etc" but when I try to log in it won't accept the data and I then have to press the back bar to get back to where I was initially. It's getting very frustrating and is one of the reasons I'm spending less time on the site these days.

I actually quite like the new look. If you work around a bit, it gives better features, the only thing that doesn't work is the yellow in the skin, the Blue with maybe a lighter blue would be much better, the yellow clashes too much.

Maybe worth pointing out that the installation is still ongoing so there are things that won't work just now that normally do work (and will work soon). Sit back and think of all the terrible things in the world - then write to Anne Robinson. By the time you have all that off your chest we should be ship shape!!

it's not working too well for me either. i'd just managed to get round the script blocker issues so that the old one working perfectly and now none of the toolbars work again.

youtube links are different - you now have to enter the full url instead of just the page number. that's no big deal but what's a pain is that the software now only allows you to have one youtube fiile per post. have a look at the Soundtrack for the World Cup thread to see what i mean.

I clicked on Delete Cookies, because I thought that way I could get to view emoticons (they had all gone to Emoticon Heaven presumably). But then I had to log on again! I think it's beastly to throw me off the site that way! I would add an emoticon, if only I could....
