Matic: Seems to have a really good potential but i'm worried a bit about how versatile he is. I have no idea if he is only a central mid or if he can go back and play DM or right and left etc as ballack and schweini can. However, he is an amazing passer.

Borini: Haven't seen enough of him but the few minutes I did he impressed me quite alot. I know that there are many others on top of him but being Italian and all im sure Carlo will find time for him. He's the striker for the U-21(?) Italian squad so he must have some real talent.

Sam Dalla Bona was captain of the italian under 21s. Not sure you can use that as much of a benchmark

To be fair Sam did look a decent prospect when with us, I wonder if he regrets leaving when he did as he could have had quite a few years of 1st team football with us.

Borini looks too lightweight to me... Can't ever seem him becoming a quality striker.

Matic - an Eastern European Mikel?!

Matic and Rajkovic played 90 mins in a home draw against Williem. Delac continues to look for his debut and was on the bench as an unused sub.

Big game for Matic and Rajkovic as Vitesse take on PSV in a home encounter tomorrow. Delac is likely to continue to be on the bench as the # 2 keeper.
