Come on Mikstaw, he not only could have saved it, he should have saved it. He got a solid hand on it, perhaps the ball was playing tricks again but I think even Stekelenburg will think he should have done better.

The Dutch need to get Kuyt off. The fact that he plays for Liverpool aside, he's too one dimensional. Elia needs to come on to add a bit more spark.

My sentiments exactly. Kuyt is always running around like an old packhorse, to little effect. I've been shouting at him for the entire finals now

It's funny loz, but not for Uruguay. I swear he fouled someone in the leadup when the Dutch won the ball back for that goal. The referee has decided to stop giving fouls against him, let alone cards.

The rule isn't to do with whether he touches the ball, it is whether he is interfering with play (or playing an active role) - if that wasn't an active role then Lou Feringo is my twin brother.
