NO VUVUZELAS AT STAMFORD BRIDGE

Chelsea Football Club can confirm that vuvuzelas will not be permitted inside or around Stamford Bridge.

The decision has been made to ensure the continued enjoyment and safety of fans following consultation with the club's stakeholders, including fans' representatives who showed strong support for a ban.

Who needs em eh ? Thank god we have such a good atmosphere to full back on!

Our atmos might not always be the best, but those things would have been the end of it. Not sure I could have handled going back with some muppet blowing one of them next to me

Not a chance, Master Bates had the East Stand soundproofed inside and out.

From my experience it's pretty good. I'm glad they have been banned, my hearing has been saved.

To be fair, I just got a vuvuzela from my friend who just got back from SA and they're a lot of fun to blow. Still, I'm glad the Bridge can create its own atmosphere.
