To be fair, I just got a vuvuzela from my friend who just got back from SA and they're a lot of fun to blow. Still, I'm glad the Bridge can create its own atmosphere.

Dangerous bloody things if you ask me. Friend of mine got arrested because of them. He was dyslexic and blew into a Zulu's vulva

Excellent news.

But, contrary to what some people post on here, we do not usually have a decent atmosphere.

Most of them are using :irony:

Have you not noticed that most of the statiums with atmosphere have a crap team on the pitch.

Us chelsea fans are lucky enough to be subjected to a spetacle most weeks so who needs loud noise when you can watch good football..

Good News... think all clubs but Blackpool have "denounced" those damn things

My wife and I were at WC2010 in SA, and believe me when I say that the TV buzzing had nothing on these pieces of >>>>. actually fun at first but when 20-30K people start up with those things - actually defining- my wife wore ear-plugs & I had beanie over ears.

Would think it would ruin the UK football attmosphere- like someone said- would take one crazy guy to bring one in to the Shed and walk out as a popsicle-

Wrayman
PS- did bring one back and woke up the whole block...hahahaha

The sh*t from T*tt*nh*m Hotsp*r went to Rome to see the Pope, and this is what he said, bzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.....

Yea. Doesn't quite have the same ring to it.

I swear if someone brings one of those things to the Ship...

Plenty of vulvazelas at the bridge already. Some of them are from the 70's & 80's.

I thought it was quite ironic that Spurs were one of the first clubs to ban them - anyone who has ever been there will know most of their atmosphere is generated by a guy banging a massive noisy drum (as well as their PA system playing music after a goal)
