Just a quick note to say I've uploaded some more Chelsea video clips from the old days in the Videos section. If you're interested, just look in the "Chelsea Goals Before 2000" folder, some good stuff in there!

Cheers for these videos Bluebeard. I think you got a couple of dates wrong though and have left a comment on the John Hollins goal one. Would love to see the Hudson goal in the League Cup at WHL that got us to Wembley if it ever surfaces.

You're absolutely right!
After doing a bit of research I've now edited the details of the clips. I was never totally confident that I had the match details correct, as my memory isn't that great even though I went to nearly all our games back then. Maybe that's the problem - I hardly missed a game home or away for about 15 years, too many games for my memory to cope with! Maybe the amount of alcohol consumed during this time didn't help either
I took the details from the late great Ron Hockings' book '90 Years Of The Blues', but I was thrown by a mistake he made in the 1970/71 game, where he gave the scorers as John Dempsey and Keith Weller. Even though I couldn't for the life of me remember a game against the Arse where those two scored, I just took it as fact. Looking into it though, I found that Hollins and Mulligan got the goals that day, which sounded more like it.
Thanks for pointing out my errors, mate, much appreciated

Well - I'll be brave and point out that the Wilkins chip you uploaded from the 76-77 season was in the 5-1 against Hereford and not the 3-1 against Southampton, which wasn't televised. I remember the Southampton game well - wasn't it Ossie's first game back at the Bridge after his move? It was a great crowd for a Div 2 game, and I'm sure that was a lot to do with it. Wilkins did score but as far as I remember it was at the Shed End.

You could be right, I don't know. I downloaded it some time ago, and it was described as being against Southampton. Didn't Hereford play in white when we played them though? My memory really is sh*te
I'll try to be more accurate with my clip descriptions in future, promise

No probs. I've got quite a few videoss from the past including the 3-1 win at WHL in 86/87 when Hazard scored twice and the 7-0 away to Walsall with Durie getting five. Have a youtube account too so just need to get them converted from VHS, edit and upload them. Then get them added on here.
