Was pants for us, but apparently has been doing well in Italy, so may not be that bad of a deal.

He hardly played and when he did it was off the bench late.  I don't think we saw enough to judge him on his time at Chelsea.

I think he's about Liverpool's level though.

Salah, like Cuadrado, excelled in Italy because the pace of the game is a lot slower than in England. Juve and Napoli aside, few of the teams engage their forwards in high-pressure tactics like in England.

He gets a lot more room to use his pace and a lot more well-crafted situations for him to take advantage of. It's made him a much better player but I'd have doubts whether that would transfer back to England.

The excelled because they were played.

For the many Bogarde fans out there: he has put a few of his shirts for sale. No Chelsea shirts, but then again, when did he ever wear one :laugh2:

There are some real steals at £149.99

Apparently  It's driven the poor man to take a supposedly real job: assistent youth coach.

Stop laughing, it's for real!

Is that for an under 15 girls team by any chance? If so, we could yet welcome him back at some point.

Gaël Kakuta has joined Ligue 1's SC Amiens on a free transfer.

Amiens to that. :face_palm:

Which just goes to reaffirm that we shouldn't get carried away with young players (and yes I have been more guilty than most!)

Kakuta looked like he could be something really special. Alas, another one bites the dust. Next.....................
