Hey everyone,

Does anyone know of we released a season review on VHS back in the day of the 2000/2001 season, its the only one I need to complete my collection and I can't find it anywhere

Also does anyone else by the season reviews? I just wondered what you though of them I thought Cup Kings DVD was an embarrassement and I complained heavily to the club. The last two efforts have been better but I'd prefer the normal commentary from Sky or MOTD because the CTV commentary can be quite boring, it takes the sting out of some great moments

I found a couple of download sites that list that season's review, but you have to sign up to d/l them, not sure about the details

Try typing in Chelsea 2000/2001 season review, think the linxdown link is the one I looked at

Yeah I saw it but am not sure if I trust it, but I can't find any evidence of a video existing for it. I might email Chelsea Megastore and see what they say.

I'm in Australia, and I've been collecting as many of the reviews as I've been able to. It's only in recent years they've become more widely available.

The first I got was 97/98 on VHS...someone sent it to me from England. Then I haven't got one until 04/05, and all of them after that. Also got a few specials dvd's...like a Frank Lampard one, 100 chelsea goals and blue revolution.

But I also try to collect the Goals and Review of the season (assume you have them there too?), because it doesn't just focus on us and gives more of the story.

Wish I had more of the older reviews though.

I've got all the reviews from 94-95 to 09-10 except for 00-01.

Is that Frank Lampard DVD the Super Frank one? Is it good

Blue Revolution is a fantastic DVD I would recommend.

I think the season reviews started with the 1988/89 season, I started collecting them then along with Rangers reviews.

What a shame someone can't put together season reviews from back in the 60's & 70's, I'd love to sit and watch those games all over again match by match.

Yeah, that's the one...

I've only watched it once...but I remember enjoying it. Everyone basically just talks about how awesome Frank is...you might even call him...super. And it has some of his highlights and what not.

Yup you've been ignored :D.

I had season 89/90 through to about 95/96, but since then I've not really bothered with them. Had 98/99 and 99/00 but then didn't bother until 04/05.

Talking of older footage, do you remember that 6 memorable matches video that was out around the early 90s? It had Chelsea v Man Utd from the 60s plus a few from the late 70s and a couple from the 80s, including the 4-4 draw at Wednesday. All slightly before my time as my first game was 88 as an 11 year old, but for an impressionable kid it helped educate me about Chelsea's past. There was a history video out about the same time as well.

It would be good if the club would do something similar by releasing the best of each decade. For example: Matches of the 70s.

86/87 is the first season review i have, as with 87/88 i dont have originals only copies but picture quality is good enough.Probably only had a limited number made. They only show home games as well, and cut out the juicy bits! Its got the goals on it from when wimbledon thrashed us 4-0 a game more widely remembered for Doug Rougvie losing the plot and trying (quite succesfully as it goes) to chin the entire wombles team. Unfortunatley Dougs antics are brushed under the carpet! Both are very amatuer productions too, but do have long interviews with Ken Bates. The promotion winning 88/89 sees things get more professional, and (off the top of my head) some away games are featured.

The only VHS I've got is the one that opens with the Charity Shield against Manchester United, 97/98 I reckon? Got a few of the others on DVD, not
gonna bother with this seasons though.
