Been following Chelsea for awhile. The guys I hang with are Manu and Araenal fans so I kinda felt there needed to be some balance. Looks like a bit of soap opera right now at Chelsea. Hopefully they will get their sh@t together. I guess right now I'll have to make due with the Canucks kicking San jose ass!

Welcome to the forum.
Have had the pleasure of visiting Victoria BC - a beautiful place. Have close friends who currently live in Mill Bay, just up the road from there.
Turmoil at Chelsea is normal, so current events are to be expected.

Sweet, now we can all get together and open up a can o' whoop ass on all the man u fans here in bc. Like there is sh@t load of 'em around. I guess it is just fashionable to cheer for Man U. I also know an Arsenal fan. he is very lonely and depressed.

Yup we're all pretty stoked about the Canucks. Luongo really found his groove in the last game. I'm hoping they end up playing Boston not because I prefer one over the other because the Canucks have an advantage ( they have the speed advantage anyway on both team) but because I have a nostalgia for Boston, it being one of the original six NHL teams.
As for Winnepeg. I think it is a done deal. They just have to officially put the pen to the paper.
Wow great to hear from all of you Chelsea fans in Canada. Oh and of course our lonely Arsenal (anyone but Man U) fan in Washington.

Yeah I thought I felt a stirring in the dark side of the force. Have to say though I watched Chelsea play the Sounders a couple of years down in Seattle. Great city.

Yeah Seattle is a cool city, and I was at that Sounders game. I'm originally from Scotland though...if you're saying American's are the "dark side!"

Just thought you'd be right out there supporting the WhiteCaps...not sure on that ruling re abandoning the game against TFC when Vancouver were a goal to the good. With TFC give them a goal lead when they kick off again?

ROFL, The Nutrilite is fast becoming a joke.
Remember last year? When Vancouver smashed Toronto and Montreal and was going to win the Cup because they only way Van could lose it was if Toronto beat Montreal by 4 clear goals? And then Montreal fielded the worst possible team they could and Toronto won 5-0?
I'm probably a better footballer than any Montreal playeron the pitch that day, made a complete farce of the competition and quite frankly Montreal should of been heavily punished and fined but nothing.

Welcome to the Shed End, Al. I've visited Victoria once, from Vancouver, where I was staying with family. Beautiful, but not very exciting
Mind you, this was in 1988, perhaps it's now the most happening place in Canada.
Hope the Canucks win the Stanley Cup!

Yeah I can't get into The Whitecaps. Don't know why. I guess I have a hard time following a league with team names like Real Salt Lake city. Just doesn't sound right! I hope they do better than they are. As long as they beat Toronto. Not sure about the ruling.

Yep the MLS is a joke, the quality of play is pathetic and so are all three Canadian teams...like watching and playing in a Sunday morning amateur game in the UK. How TFC get 20,000 a game and sell out amazes me, still must those displaced Portuguese, Italian, Russian et al and most stupidly the ex pats. I guy I work with, like me is a Chelsea Supporter born in the shadows of the old Stamford Bridge, has season tickets for TFC he tells me there is a waiting list! Having watched Chelsea home and away until I came here in 1988 and coached kids here until I realised that it's about parent egos and not for the kids to have fun and learn. Give it about another 10 years or so and we might be at a 2nd Division level....by that time I might be 6 feet under!

Well we have grown a bit since then. Seems everyone wants to retire here although the weather here can really suck. I guess anything is better than snow. Your constantly under threat of being run over by mature individuals on electric side walk scooters.
The Canucks will take it for sure.
