I think it's fair to say that Chelsea's entire player personnel situation is in complete disarray. And who's nominally in charge? A man with no apparent qualifications for the job, Michael Emenalo.

Wasn't Emenalo appointed to the job *after* we'd let Stoch/Tore/Borini go? (and those are the three who've looked worth keeping - Sinclair's a good starter but not a star for a midtable Premiership team, which is not a level of player that's ever going to be breaking through). Rather harsh to blame him for a problem whose worst examples all predate him.

And it was assistant coach Emenalo had no apparent qualifications for. He's spent most of his career as a scout, which is perfectly relevant to his current job. I think most of the animus against him comes from understandable frustration at Arnesen-era youth policy and at Wilkins being sacked, rather than from anything he's officially been responsible for.

Emenalo is supposedly there to develop our youth system, on Revista it was said that we approached Txiki Beguiristan from Barca last year to start changing our youth set up and bring some youngsters through.
It seems RA wants us to be more like Barca but i think it would take decades, lots of money and a lot of patience.

My understanding is Emenalo is just there because ex-Chelsea managers where unhappy with senior players like Terry having a direct line to Abramovich and that Emenalo's role is to act as a messenger between the players and the owner.
