Hello, newbie here... sorry if this has already been covered... what are people's fave kits... mine is the le coq sportif round/v-neck in the early 80s... has anyone ever seen one on ebay?

I would steer clear of any shirts from ebay! You'd be better off asking dodgy dave to knock up a decent version of one.

I had the Blue version but got to big for it, I think I like the White Version better now.

Favorite kit is the real Royal blue kit from the early 70s complete with white stripe on the shorts

I'd definitely go along with this - and the yellow/blue/yellow away kit we had at the same time was classy. Only problem is, the retro kits of this era don't look like they're the original shade of blue, and the style is slightly different - they just look a bit wrong to the way I remember them.

Also liked the mid-70's kit

and the early 80's - very similar to the Rangers kit from the same period, last footie shirt I ever bought

Best kit in recent times was definitely the Embassy Regal away kit, so stylish, yet so rarely worn by the team.

I own that 70's one, it was the kit in 77 when I was born, then I think the next one was nice too (which may have also been in 77)

Agreed on the Regal kit. I own that too

i don't like the remakes though. I'd rather find second hand real ones from back in the day.

I have got a brand new Umbro Autoglass, big ken bates badged shirt surpluss to requirements.

Never worn, small mans size, sitting on a hanger, any ideas of value or best place to sell it?

Not exactly a favourite (because I've never seen one) but I would love to get hold of the 1952 shirt, simply because of it's uniqueness. It's the only shirt to feature this badge:

Should fetch you around 15 GBP, putting it up on Ebay for sale should do the job.
