What is it about the English FA that they reward failure.

Did they not learn with the Capello farce.

Do any of the English here think this is a good move for your under 21's.

He has done a fantastic job with the under 21's look at his stats. If the players that should have gone went ie, wilshire and carroll we would have done a lot better in my opinion. danny wellback is f**king pony.

Can't find his England stats anywhere but his Club management stats are very poor. I agree that they would miss Wilshire and Carroll but he went
through this tourament without a win.
I don't believe his English Bulldog style is what is needed at under 21 level.

I think he's very very niave tactically and that showed in the way he sent his team out during the tournament, that said we probably had the most inexperienced squad in the whole tournament, most other countries had a number of first team players that dropped down to play for the U21's, we lacked massively because our more experienced players didn't do the same.
Should he have been given a new contract?  I don't think it's too bad a thing that he was but equally I wouldn't have be suprised or upset if the FA let him go.

I agree.

Pearce is the stereotype English manager. All passion and bulldog spirit but very little substance. You compare Pearce to young foreign coaches like Guardiola and AVB and they are complete world's apart. No wonder the English game is struggling.
