I caught the hi-lights of the Northern Ireland v Faroe Islands and saw Paddy McCourt from Celtic put in a brilliant performance scoring two goals - one a brilliant solo effort.
Watching some of the clips of him on the following link show he has brilliant dribbling skills. The only questions would be the quality of the opposition he plays against and the fact that he is now 28 and hasn't really established himself until now. Also could he do it in the Premier League?
As we are looking for a wide player would he be worth a look at?

Always been debates regarding his general fitness. Can't recall him ever lasting 90 minutes when he plays for the filth.

Not liked by the Celtic fans according to the fans on one of their websites. So I imagine he flatters to deceive.
Maybe that answers my own original question as to why he hasn't fully established himself at the age if 28.

He was awesome a few nights ago. I'd love a Northern Irish player to break through at Chelsea .
And to say he isn't like at celtic is simply not true.
Although he ain't Chelsea standard all in all

The papers up here reporting he's a target for Liverpool. Amazing what one good game against a team of part timers can do for you.
