Why does Eto'o have 3to'o on his back? Can they do that?

Yuri is playing in the 81 jersey? Crazy numbers.
Certainly made Yuri look good, but the defending was pretty shocking

Those are some crazy fonts indeed for the numbers. Yuri looked like he picked the ball up off speedy winger # ?
Anyway, I hope Eto'o is taking Yuri out for some fine caviar and lobster after that goal. Every goal Eto'o nets gets him an additional 20k euros. At this rate the man is going to bleed Anzhi's billionaire dry.

He broke his collar-bone in the 8th minute, so it wasn't him. Out for 1-2 months right before the EC qualifiers...

i guess some players aren't cut for the chase in the premier league, but at the same time can be stars in other leagues.

I think Yuri never got a proper chance to prove himself. He was injured a lot and played just a handful of matches. If he'd played more and had played more like he did in that one match against Bolton(when he got his head all bandaged up), or the one against Villa when he won two penalty kicks(they played so well together with Malouda that day) he'd been a hit.

There was no doubting Yuri's talent and i'm sure the club were reluctant to let him go, however with his injury record he just wasn't able to establish himself as a starter and I think he just wanted a clean break.

I remember him run like that against Villa and won 2 penalties, and more recently against United. He's been good from time to time, but spending 4/5 of the time sitting on the sideline did not help him.

It's incredible. Apparently Eto'o and co live in Moscow and then they get a private jet to Makhachkala for the home games.

Yup, theres the ability Zhirkov has but rarely got the chance to show here. Be pretty pissed about him going if we didnt get Mata in. I think they are going to really light up Russia.

Maybe he has to stay in Russia for tax purposes.

That is actually fairly crazy. Hell, if he can get that kind of service, why didnt he just buy in Istanbul or Athens and come from there. It wouldve been a much warmer. Nothing against Moscow, but thats what I would do, anyway.

...and fly to Moscow every day for the trainings? That would be a bit too much. ;)

Eto'o is still one of the best footballers in the world. Once Mourinho got done with with and turned him into a proper all-around player, he was fantastic for Inter. It feels like he's wasted in Russia, although you can't blame a man for taking the money.
