Terry - Allegation/Captaincy (merged)

Featured Replies

This probably isnt going to go away quietly, as QPR are set to investigate and its made the BBC pages as well as papers.

The video can be seen below, it doesnt look good I have to say....unless he is arguing with the referee here and calling him a blind c**t, then I dont know what else to say.

Terry has come out and said he was telling Ferdinand I didn't call you a black c**t which is why he then called hima knob head!

I think Ferdinand would of said something if he had called him that!

What I don't get is how comes theirs no evidence either way on the Evra claims

This is what I wrote in the match thread:

Very sly move by QPR. Even if the accusations are proved to be without foundation, the suspicion has been raised, and as Backbiter stated earlier in this thread, the "he's got previous for this kind of thing" mythology is reinforced. Never mind that there was nothing to it, the sh*t has been well and truly stirred. What it also achieves is to distract attention away from Foy's astounding ineptitude, and from QPR's pathetic performance against nine men.

This is pretty weak sh*t from whoever came up with this. His face is obscured by someone's head for half of it and it seems to me (although I'm no lip reader) that he's saying 'Oi oi' and 'blind' instead of 'Anton' and 'black'. Pissy evidence to say the least, very little substance whatsoever...

... I guess we'll be seeing it on the back page of the Mail tomorrow then?

No matter what JT now says at no stage in the clip does he say the words "I didn't call you"..

One person and one person alone can put this to bed and that is Anton Ferdinand. If JT did say what has been alleged then he has a duty of care for black people everywhere to come out and say so. If however JT didn't say what was alleged then all he has to do is come out and say so.

You think if he did, Ashley Cole might have something to say, because he appeared to be right next to him. JT is clearly not whiter than white (no pun intended) but if he's been wrongly accused of this after the allegations vs Spurs whoever brought it to light needs to have a look at themselves.

What it also does is draw attention away from Utd's hammering.

That was something I was wondering, Ash seems to be the player closest to the incident yet he doesnt even flinch.

Ferdinand needs to come out now and say if JT abused him or not, if QPR are telling him to keep quiet then they need to be punished.

He wasnt saying that anton is a f**king black c**t...

He was just saying:

"After this match I gonna f**k a black c**t"

pfff If JT is getting punished for this, they also have to punish the ref for being on the pitch.

What "priors" does he have? Seriously?

I am starting to believe that just because JT has acted like a complete, no brian cell idiot for half of his professional life, he is now also a racist by association in the minds of most people.

I would also like to hear about the alleged racism JT has engaged in earlier. Why haven't I heard about it?

I remember a certain case with Lampard at a hotel when he mocked American tourists after 9/11, but that was a (very drunk) one timer ten years ago.

Read on my mobile updates that QPR are holding talks with Anton and will release a statement on Wednesday. But they did point out in the article that Anton had not made any complaint; compare that to Evra coming out straight away. I know Anton isn't Evra, but it's still a valid point in my opinion.

Coincidentally, the allegations of Terry being a racist came from Rio's autobiography that stated there was a known racist in the England camp. People assumed that this was Terry for some reason even though the evidence pointed to someone much different to Terry.

This will run it's course, and have the usual hate mongering against Terry come out, then nothing will come of it and we'll get no apology.

Also, didn't Anton and Terry congratulate one another on the way off the pitch? Surely if there was animosity they're would have been "afters" when the final whistlel was blown.

This subject is pure speculation and internet fuelled rumour unless Anton Ferdinand/QPR make a complaint. I don't think we should bother giving it any more air time to be honest.

Terry's 'previous' was when he was sent off at tottenham a few years back and clashed with ledley king...nothing was proved then, but the whispers remained among spurs fans etc

The Heil at its stirring worst, repeating the allegation in full:

http://www.dailymail...inand-game.html

and a columnist sticks the boot in:

It may or may not be that the charges laid by Manchester United’s Patrice Evra against Liverpool’s Luis Suarez are well founded. The same goes for the allegations by Anton Ferdinand of QPR against John Terry of Chelsea – although given Terry’s general level of conduct racial abuse of an opponent would be pretty ordinary stuff.

Utter scumbags.

BBC:

Police assess claim John Terry racially abused Anton Ferdinand

Allegations that Chelsea's John Terry racially abused QPR defender Anton Ferdinand are being looked at by police after a public complaint.

The Chelsea captain has categorically denied making a racist slur during Sunday's game at Loftus Road.

A police spokesman said: "We can confirm that police have been notified of an incident on Sunday, 23 October involving alleged racial abuse.

"This is currently being assessed by officers from Hammersmith and Fulham."

Videos circulated on the internet in the aftermath of the game, with some claiming the footage shows Terry, 30, insulting the QPR player using racist language.

BBC Sport understands QPR are to discuss the matter further with Ferdinand.

That fat buffoon Steve Curry (Man utd fan) on SSN this morning was also sticking the boot into Terry, he mentioned the Ledley King incident as well, and was banging on about JT's fitness to be England Captain...all the usual b*llocks...

The Sky news bloke (who happens to be black) had to remind Curry that there is no proof at all in any of the allegations...
