This is completely ridiculous and nothing more than a witch hunt. In fact I wouldn't be surprised if the truth was determined by the Police/FA etc by a good old fashioned dunking (if he drowns he he didn't say 'black' and was innocent).
I just hope that Terry can sue someone after all this and that whoever reported it to the Police is charged with wasting Police time.
Or can we just call the Police and say that we saw a random QPR player touch a 9 year old girl's bottom so he gets several days of media coverage speculating that he might be a kiddy fiddler?

John Terry is loathed by fans of other clubs (plus a fair few journalists) His Father was targeted by the late unlamented NOTW, in a case which even the judge said was one of the worst cases of entrapment he'd ever seen...So outside of Chelsea everyone badly wants to believe this is true.
The thing is, these days someone can start an untrue internet rumour out of maliciousness, and it snowballs really quickly...(just ask Jemima Goldsmith)

Apparently, Alan Hansen is going to go into forensic analysis of Terry's game next week, on MOTD.
He's going to explain what exactly makes Terry so special. He is going to explain why he is the best defender of his generation. He's going to show Terry's bravery, his technique, his leadership, his reading of the game, his tackling, his heading, his threat from set pieces, and his overall organisational skills. He's going to explain why every single manager Terry plays for immediately makes him their captain, and he's going to ask us all to forgive him his indiscretions, as he does with Rooney every week, on the basis that the devil in him makes him the player he is.
Oh no, sorry, he's going to eulogise about John O' Shea ..

After the evidence against Terry the only way he could be proved innocent in this is if Ferdinand comes out and tells the world that he's innocent. No one with video footage of Terry saying "I didn't call you a........." is going to come forward now.

It wouldn't surprise if Anton and the QPR meeting is to actually discuss whether it would be of benefit to either the club or Anton if they went with the story.
Yea okay it may be a bit of a far fetched look on it, but the way things are lately within the media, I really wouldn't put it past anyone! This sort of stuff creates an absolute media frenzy, and it would push QPR and Anton into massive news (with plenty of cash thrown that way) and a huge negative on JT, which we know the press always love.
The most disgusting part of this is that it was just pulled out of thin air by anyone, a few Youtube videos and comments, somebody with guts to actually go into a police station and make a complaint - knowing full well the media will grab this and run with it. Are people actually that low to a footballer they dislike, its disgusting!

Chelsea manager Andre Villas-Boas says John Terry race row is over
Chelsea manager Andre Villas-Boas has given his backing to John Terry over allegations he racially abused Anton Ferdinand in Sunday's defeat by QPR and says the matter is now over.
The 30-year-old defender, who denies the claims, is waiting for the results of a police investigation.
"We fully back John," said Villas-Boas. "He spoke to Anton after the game.
"For us it was end of story. It's just a big misunderstanding and something blown out of proportion."
Videos circulated on the internet in the aftermath of the game, which saw Chelsea reduced to nine men in the first half, with some claiming the footage shows Terry insulting the QPR defender using racist language.
Ferdinand has yet to make a comment about the chain of events while police are investigating the allegations after a public complaint.
However, Villas-Boas backed the England captain saying: "John is a player who [represents] this country to the highest level internationally. He is a player of great responsibilities.
"I find it strange when people don't trust the words of a representative from your country.
"The clubs are in touch with each other and for us the matter is over.
"We have full backing for our player and for us it is the end of story.
"The rest we have to wait and see."

I was only kidding but in the same article they manage to [almost certainly falsely] accuse JT of racism and also turn their noses up at the idea that Evra or Ferdinand should be offended by such racism-lite.
Haha, you can't make this sh*t up...

This, for me, is exactly what it is. Someone has made this allegation and they have told the player, who could clear the whole incident up, to shut his mouth and let it run for their own purposes.
We have reached an age where sporting rivalry is more important to people than human decency. They would rather see someone they dont like accused of this than know what really happened.
Sadly, JT is probably waiting for a bigger story to come along and replace this. He is probably hoping to ride out the storm just like all the rest. We live in an age where reputation and rumor is more important than facts, and, despite being an idiot in his personal life and hiring people who are seemingly morons based on how they advise him, im sure JT knows this.

Might be a bit far fetched, but there are people out there who would do it, no question about that.
I would however hope that Ferdinand will have the balls to say no to the club if they ask him to do this and act like a real man. To pretend someone has said something racist is just wrong.

QPR briefing the media against Terry:

So no public comment but feed the media frenzy to keep the world speculating and hope the mud sticks, whatever the outcome.

Yet the notion that the pair departed amicably has been rejected by sources at QPR. The club have declined to comment publicly on the issue and Ferdinand – normally a keen twitterer – has remained silent......It is understood the player and the club were minded to pursue the matter, though the 26-year-old asked to sleep on the matter before making a final decision.

This is pathetic, don't really blame Ferdinand for this - club telling him to keep shut or play for the reserves/get fined. This is not how a Premier League club operates, hopefully this season is the first and last they're here.
