As with all teams City have more than a few ar*eholes following them ,some of them JCL others ones who have followed them 30 yrs or so. Living myself just outside Manchester the only thing I'd say about their fans is they have a huge chip on their shoulder with regards United. This though is understandable , for years they have taken stick from reds (many who have never been in OT!) with little to fight back with. Their own labour of love has been thrust on them by dads who took them down to Platt Lane telling tales of the greats ,Bell ,Lee and Summerbee all of which must seemed a legend from old folklore. Still they have turned out to support the team.. in great numbers throughtout the dark days of the 80s and 90s. They now find themselves in a position to challenge their neighbours, (who will have us all believe their success was never based on being a rich club and able to buy whoever they wanted) and are able to crow a bit. Fair play to them, like us they have had their rough times and yes like us lucky enough to enjoy the better times via a rich benefactor. In years to come we both might return to were we came but we both should enjoy it whilst its here.
Man city fans...

MrSkyBlue, are you like a couple of my mates who are City fans, they still think City will somehow screw everything up
, they reckon its the city way.
YES!... Very much so. The tag "Typical City" was something i heard virtualy every Saturday growing up. We have always been able to drag disaster out of the jaws of Success in epic fasion, lol. We were always able to turn it on against big teams but we'd fall apart against West Brom the week later. "Pshhh, Typical f*cking City" is what we would say. So when one of the worlds richest blokes buys the club and assembles a squad of class the likes we haven't seen in, well probably ever truth be told. We expect it to go tits up at any given moment.
But i must say, Mancini, his staff and the players at the club certainly don't believe the "Typical City" tag anymore. And we are as fans very cautiously starting to believe too.
