One of the myriad great things about this Champions League run is that Petr Cech is finally among the elite goalkeepers again (and deservedly so) in the collective footballing consciousness. Great to hear his name mentioned in the same breath as Buffon and Casillas again - I always felt Cech was better than the latter anyway.

He was so classy in his post-match interview too. What a hero.

Drogba also hailed the performance of the goalkeeper Petr Cech, who saved a penalty from Arjen Robben in extra-time and then also played a key part as Bayern missed twice in the shoot-out. "When we have this guy in goal you have to believe," Drogba said.

Whoever started this should eat a massive humble pie tonight

Cech's still in the top 3 keepers in the world with Hart and Neuer for me

I still have a soft spot for Buffon as being in the top three, and so I would move Neuer to number four.
