Ramires out will be a big blow, I hope Luiz is back even though Bosingwa did a good job at playing CB v Spuds.
Start Torres as its him we are going to have to have as the main man in Jan/Feb when the Drogs is away.
3-0 Chelsea.

Luiz posted on twitter that "he's back, and he thanks god for his present" which I'm assuming his present is him being back?

Luiz kind of leaves the defense vulnerable when he goes forward that's y I hope avb starts romeu so he can cover up for luiz

I think that's a tired argument for Luiz, he'll gain better form as he learns to play the British game and with a little more maturity. He'll do just fine.

Ever since AVb changed our style back to defending deep, I think Luiz has been pretty solid and has made lesser mistakes. He has to learn a lot but I think he would be a great defender in a couple of years.

At least Luiz is back. Maybe a 4231 to maximise Mata's creativity to compensate for the loss of Rambo's runs?
----------- Cech -----------
Ivan - Luiz - Terry - Cole
---- Romeu - Meireles ----
- Danny - Mata - Kalou -
---------- Torres ----------
I think Drogba needs a break and its useless giving Torres 5 minutes here or there. Either Sturridge or him up front. Kalou is the concession but he does nick goals and with Mata in the hole he'll have three possible outlets in the final third rather than just the one when he drifts inside in the 433. If Ivan's unfit then obviously bos (maybe CB again) or Paulo in.

I'd be interested to see how a set up like that worked out. Can't see an amazing amount of defending coming from anyone more forward than Romeu! A line up like that would probably send the AVB is trying to force Lampard out stories in the press into overdrive.
It would sure be a pacy and gung-ho - but probably be a fun 90 minutes to watch.

Yeah it really would, but it won't happen because Lampard is Lampard and he is still right there at the top of the goals and assists charts. He'll probably knock away a couple today and make his doubters look like fools again.
Danger game in my opinion. Fulham are always up for it and they have some quality players. If we take it lightly we're in for a long afternoon.

How are people getting to today's game then? I usually get the train/tube, going to try driving (from Croydon/Sutton area).
As others have said this could be a danger game for us, Just because they didn't turn up against Man Yoo, doesn't mean they won't turn up to their 'Cup Final'
I hope Luiz is back, although Bos didn't do to badly against Spuds, I think Fulham will provide a different style of threat which Bos may struggle with.
I think AVB will put out our strongest 11, which will include Drogba. Looks like he's going to play him till ACON then deal with the situation then.

Hypothetically speaking.. if Luiz didnt make it.. Isn't Romeu capable of playing as a CB? Im sure his description was a CB/DM..

I think romeu is getting better and better after each game. He is capable of filling the shoes of makele who had a major contribution in helping with the title two years in a row

Hinteresting.
If Torres is starting, he really needs to put in a performance if he wants to grab that first choice striker spot. I know he'll have opportunities while Didier is away, but if he doesn't put in a shift, when he's back it'll be Drogba starting most of the time again and Torres watching from the bench. A win and at least 1 Torres goal today please Santa.
