Ramires is back I'd put $$$ on 3 points. I know a lot of folks are tipping Danny Boy as player of the year but I feel Rambo is more important to the team.

Haha I'm taking yer word on that Scott to put some money down, I'll find ya if we lose ;)
Think its time we fill the back of the net a little more, that should help our odds as well.

I think Torres should start. He needs game time

Torres seemed to be relatively decent against Fulham, and I agree he definitely needs some game time (before ACoN - so he's not thrown into the thick of it and relied upon whilst Drog is away) however I can't see him starting this game. Drogba was given a rest and will be back - admittedly mind, from recent Drogba performances it seems like he's only giving 100% against the big names....lets hope he thinks of Villa as a 'big name' club.
Lets bang in 7 again please lads.

I had a dream last night that both Michael Essien and Sam Hutchinson started this game and we were 2-1 up at half-time. Believe.

Unfortunately yes. I'm very confident thought as it's not like us to throw away a seemingly simple lead...

Great news for Hutchinson - it'll be interesting to see how Paulo does as well.
I can only assume Mikel is injured if he doesn't even make the bench...

I'd rather assume that AVB has finally seen the light and has decided not to let Mikel into the squad again...

Apparently Mikel, Essien and Ivanovic are all out with injury and Bosingwa picked up a knock against Fulham which is why Paulo is starting.

Guess Torres gets the start against Wolves as we know Villa will park the bus all game and play for the break away, I hope AVB allows Luiz to go forward all day to add pace to midfield. Don't want to see passing across the back four today and passing back to Cech...all balls forward..please.

why bench Torres if he needs game time as Drogba is going to ACoN?? dont understand it, but main thing is that Chelsea win!!
delighted Ramires is back, we look so predictable in mf when hes not in it
