Stupid more like.

Hazard, Torres (or Lukaka), Sturridge

with Mata pulling the string in midfield & De Bruyne warming the bench or out on loan.

Would be silly, Sturridge has no vision and his passing isn't that good, he'd be completely wasted.

I like that, and only lukaku in front when we play low,So he can start his long big rushes like he did in RSCA!!!Lukaku is countermaterial!!

Obviously I'm looking a couple years into the future... Lukaku is not ready and De Bruyne is not ready and not here ..yet

Besides, Sturridge actually does have good vision when he is playing a more central role. With Bolton he was very crafty with his through passes and balls over the top. He could play behind a striker easily. As for Mata, he can play next to him with Ramires or Romeu in the holding role.

Sturridge is a very good passer of the ball actually. On the wing though, he prefers to attack the goal and sometimes to a fault because he could square the ball across for an easier goal. He is a very good passer, just a bit selfish as a winger.

Torres

Hazard Sturridge
Mata

Essien Ramires

Cole Terry Cahill/Ivanovich Luiz/Ivanovich

For the rest of the season with Lampard, Romeu, Meireles coming off the bench. Could even rotate Luiz in w/Cahill and Ivanovich next to Terry or have Cahill and Ivanovich play the central position if Terry gets a ban... Torres would or should return to form with this kind of service... If not Drogba gets more time, he woo capitalize and could also be a reason to lock him up for two more years too...

For this season, that would be the ideal line-up. But Chelsea inverts that triangle in the middle to only have 1 deep midfielder.

So would be more like

Mata ----------- Ramires

-------Essien-------------

Did you watch him play for Bolton or not? He was playing behind Kevin Davies and was almost like a playmaking forward. He was roaming all over the place.

I think Lille are going to wait until Real Madrid are involved in the bidding before they consider selling. If you have a prized asset there is no reason to sell it off before you can stoke up a real war.

PSG, Barca, and City will be right there, too.

if he goes to real then id say we have a good chance of signing one of their midfielders. ronaldo, di maria, ozil, callejon, kaka, sahin . . . some of those players will no doubt want to leave the club

Sturridge could proably do a good job anywhere up front, be it RW, CF, LW or the nr 10 role.

So the fact that he was making runs through the middle of the field, putting in through passes and scoring goals doesn't tell you he could play behind a forward.

And if you saw him play for Bolton then you would know that its not just an idea that he play behind the forward, its a fact, because that is what he did.

Or Mata could play in one of the other positions we have on the field, last I checked Chelsea plays with 10 players.

Playing off Kevin Davies at Bolton is nothing like playing as a number 10 in a 4-3-3 at a club wanting to win the PL or CL. His vision is nowhere near as good as you make out; compare his vision and passing to players like Mata, Silva, Nasri and Fabregas. He's not going to be able to unlock teams who park the bus and more importantly it would be a waste of his huge goalscoring talent.
