For me it wasn't even a foul. Confirmation of that is further strengthened for me by the fact the tackle was on Nani. If any player was going to make a point of this tackle being a foul and dangerous then it was him. He didn't even bat an eyelid on this occasion. In fairness to the referee though I will say it looked a dangerous challenege from the angle he was looking at but when you see the view from behind Kompany you can see the actual tackle was only with one foot. Game is played by a bunch of pansies these days. I wonder what the likes of Ron Harris makes of it all.

If that was a red then I argue that Scholes should have spent half his career banned.

If it didn't even occur to NANI to make a meal of it, how can it be a red?
I don't think it was but Kompany should know better than using both legs in ANY tackle in todays game. Its always Russian roulette with these ridiculous refs. Condolences to City for suffering the nightmare that is Foy but thats life at the top.

I did not see alot wrong with it he won the ball and no damage to the player what so ever, blood joke if you ask me however..........he is banned for some big matches which could help city drop points and maybe if we go on a unlikely run of results this could help us clime up the table.

Milinas got a red card for his tackle on Arteta when we played Wolves back end of last year.
Johnson's tackle tonight was an exact replica yet no sending off.
Where's the consistency?
