Funny though isn't it that with the headlines surrounding JT, 'Arry's' little caper is slowing fading into the background....no doubt his sentence will be a fine, no way he is going to do jail time...which will bode well on his resume when he submits it to the FA for the England job. Love to see him get a couple of weeks inside though.

Some of the sh*t he`s coming out with is embarrassing. So far we have learnt he can hardly read or write, he never looks at his bank accounts or knows how much money is in them or is put in by others, he actually would love to pay more tax if possible, he doesn`t like people staring at him, he was winding up a journalist when he told him about bonus money for selling Crouch, and he didnt do anything with the Monaco bank account he has even though only him could ever actually do anything with it and money was moved around. What a plum.

Agreed. hopefully the Jury will see through his performance and find him guilty.

And then surely the FA have to step in and do something, yes? Can a man be convicted of a criminal offence and go unpunished by the FA?

Couldn't reach a verdict after 4 hours, will resume tomorrow. Doesn't look good for a guilty verdict.

Has to be guilty. Four hours isn't much, they have the fate of two men to decide. From the newspaper reports (always a dodgy source, I admit) Redknapp's defence was a joke.
If he is found guilty, I really wonder what the FA will do. And does a criminal conviction mean they can't hire him as England manager? They've dug themselves a hole with Terry.

If guilty,`arry` will still get the england job.The f.a will deem it an honest but foolish mistake by a `lovable geeza`,while john terry is vile racist thug with Hitler`s birthday tattooed on his neck, who goes around paki-bashing and vandalizing Jewish cemeteries......According to the daily mail

I read somewhere that the judge will only find him guilty if they reach a majority verdict...looks like Harry is going to walk, straight into the England job if the press have their way, as they have now turned on Capello over JT
On the plus side if Spurs lose their manager next season they'll probably spend a few years in transition and fall back down to mid table, so every cloud and all that..

Would be a pretty twisted legal system to find someone guilty on a minority verdict...
Anyhow, we'll probably get the verdict anytime today. I think he's going to get away with it. Case against him seems solid but meh, reasonable doubt and all that.

This is a good result.
It means Harry will join the England setup after the Euros (never could have done that if found guilty). Spurs will lose Harry.
Players will leave Spurs. Spurs go down.
Lovely.

If this outcome leads us to get Modric & Walker (unless Hutch is allowed to step up we may as well go for a decent RB!) on the cheap then I'm all for it.
But I doubt it will and ol triffic 'arry lives to fight another day. Surprised surprise.
