Better move for him. A club that a player of his pedigree deserves. He'd certainly add depth there, both for the title run in and for presumably the CL next season.

Also not moving to QPR is a positive.

QPR now have Taiwo on loan from Marseille so I'd say they are less likely to sign another CB in Alex during same window.

Chelsea defender Alex is on his way to PSG. He will only be the 5th centre half of the squad with Sakho, Lugano, Camara & Bisevac#psg #cfc

Sure Lugano is PSG captain and Sakho is the bright star coming out of France, not sure Alex is going to be a starter for them

I like the move from our standpoint. Net cost of £3m to swap Cahill for Alex. Younger, a little quicker, and homegrown.
