This one will be a test of nerves I reckon.
Luiz had better keep his cool.
I'm not really interested in the line-up I'm more interested in who will be ref.
If it were my choice it would be Webb.
Thoughts please ..

I think we'll see Cahill come in for Luiz in this one. The reasons being in your first two lines. Other than that a full strength line up. I wouldn't expect any surprises at all. The surprises will happen the Tuesday after, hopefully.

I can already see it in my eyes how QPR will pressure JT in every way. They have that little c*nt in the midfield and it will be shoving and pushing the whole time. I think we'd be better with Ivan-Cahill backline.
Essien could start with Lampard and Romeu. Malouda-Torres-Sturridge in front.
This competition we should take seriously as it is the best way to see silverware this term.

Crush them.
Remove their will to live.
Make their fans cry.
Make the stadium howl with grief.
Make it rain, make it thunder, make it terrible.
Make it so they rue the day they ever have to face Chelsea again.
F*ck 'em.

We need to try something different and by that I mean moving Mata just behind Torres, playing Malouda and Sturridge out wide and Ramires and Romeu sitting in front of the back four. I know Mata usually drifts inside anyway but if there is Malouda on the left, he wont have to worry about going there to provide an outlet meaning he can concentrate on playing a free role in the middle.
We could also try Mata in a deep role with Romeu. Push Malouda and Ramires out wide and play Sturridge alongside Torres.
Something needs a change and quick and this is as good a game as any to try that.

Had warnock still been in charge, I would feel fairly confident. As it is, it'll be a tough game. Players should be well up for it though...1-3 blues.

It doesn't matter if we do move Mata in to the'hole' we don't move the ball fast enough for that to be effective.
I'd go for a physically strong team for this one!

I reckon Cole should have a rest this weekend, can't see any reason Betrand not playing this game. Cahill to get a start, won't mind if JT get a rest too. Hope Essien is fit enough to start, Mereiless has been quite poor lately. Play Torres until he scores, or when Drogba comes back. Our realstic chance to win anything this year, I'm sure we will put on a strong team.

Yup, QPR's recent manager change could make this difficult for us.
Really hope the players are well up for this one. Who got sent off last time, was it Drogba and Bosingwa? I know the former can't play but honestly I'd like to avoid playing the latter too.
Bringing in Cahill could be a good idea, not sure if that'd be for Terry or Luiz though. Or maybe even switch Luiz to RB instead of Ivanovic, since he's only just back from injury?
I'd like to see Ramires, Romeu and Essien in midfield. Those three would absolutely destroy QPR. Although if Lampard is fit I'd give him the nod over Romeu.
