Loz - just an idea and not sure how it'll go down but how about we put together a card from all at the Shed End. People could post their personal messages and these could possibly be printed and stuck in the card (though there maybe a more professional way of doing that)?

Gem started this thread and I think she should be offered first refusal however I'm happy to pick it up if Gem opts not to manage it. I guess the thing we need to consider is the timescale we would want to do this over (not knowing how long the hospital stay is likely to be). Maybe if we set a deadline for everyone to get a message in on this thread by Friday and go with that?

I suppose theres no harm in creating a thread now for the messages is there? Decisions over who can look after it can be made anytime.

I'm more than happy to arrange it, but if someone else wants to then by all means go for it.

My thoughts would be to get a card, print off everyone's comments, fill the card with the good wishes and then send it off? The only problem is... will he be home once it's sorted & some random patient gets Chelsea fans wishing them well...?

Can you do a mass PM Loz and tell everyone messages no later than Friday? I can then post it Saturday.

I'll go with a standard get well soon card but hopefully a biggish one to fit all the messages in. Worth sticking a small Shed End Logo/site address in one of the corners with your contact email address?

Another idea I had Gem - you are brilliant at putting together photo tributes - maybe you could add something to the card (or maybe even find a site where you can design the cover yourself)

You want me to make the card like via MoonPig? I'm up for that. Was tempted to get a strong piece of card, do a Bobby Tambling collage on the front and just have it plain inside with all the messages and our contact information on the back. Thoughts? More than happy to go with the masses.

Personally I like the idea of the collage because I know the high quality of your work but like you happy to go with the masses (wherever they may be)
