For the United match? I think Meireles has to start because otherwise the midfield is just very, very slow.

Romeu, Essien, Malouda/Mata would be caught flat-footed.

Yeah, he will almost certainly play against United. But with everyone fit I still see AVB playing Meireles first choice, which is what causes me some concern
