Everton v Chelsea (PL) 30/08/14 KO 17:30 BST

A hard game, a ground we tend to struggle to get a good result on the majority of times we have been there in recent years, least that is how it feels when I think of us going to Goodison Park.

Simply put though, a side that will win titles can go to Everton and come back with 3 points. They are good, but they are not so good they need to be feared. Respected yes, but not feared.

Lets see how far we have come. Over to you and the lads, Jose.

Hard game but we can win this if we keep the tempo up and not drop our level (2nd half and 1st half showings so far).

Everton will be fragile after losing a 2 goal lead in less than 10 minutes, we hopefully will put them under the cosh.

Worried about Coleman though, need to snuff that threat out to get something from this IMO

Last time around we lost one nil on Eto'o's debut. While he looked sharp he never hit the ground running. Costa has done exactly that in both games this season and I'm confident he can bag another.

Everton have had a disappointing start to 2014 especially yesterday afternoon against Arsenal. Letting a 2-0 lead is a blessing in disguise for us as their confidence would have taken a blow.

They have quite a few injuries don't they? Barkley definitely out and Pienaar/Lukaku both went off injured vs Arsenal.

Without those 3 I think they're far less intimidating, particularly after their late collapse last week.

More optimistic than i'd normally be for a trip to Goodison, i'll go for a 2-0 win. Same team as the last 2 games, or perhaps Willian/Ramires in for Oscar.

We were unlucky not to win last time.

I'm confident about this one. 2 - 1 Win.

I agree we were all over them last time but just couldn't get the goal.  We can certainly win here, and they've got a few injury problems.  Baring no surprises we're at full strength.

---------- Courtois ----------

Ivan - Cahill - Terry - Azpili

------- Matic --- Cesc -------

Schurrle - Oscar - Hazard

------------ Costa ------------

I reckon the same lineup for Everton. Oscar was ok imo. He almost scored with a curler. His 'outside of the foot' through ball to Brana led to the opener.

He's a threat from outside the box.

Any news on Willian. He was lively when he came on. Then got kneed in the back by that bald former scouser..

I think i'd like to see willian start on the right wing, hazard in the middle and schurrle on the left wing. Oscar hasn't looked great lately, maybe he just needs a bit of time to get back into the flow, but a big game like Everton away needs the strongest side we can put out. I fancy us to keep them out, so either 1-0 to us or a 0-0 draw

This would be an ideal-line up for the Everton game:

-----------------------------------Courtois---------------------------------------

Ivanovic---------------Cahill------------------Terry-------------Azpilicueta

-------------------------------------Matic-------------------------------------------

---------------------------Willian-----------Fabregas-----------------------------

------Schurrle----------------------Costa-------------------------Hazard

Ivanovic must stay as his form was far too good to warrant him being on the sub's bench. He was outstanding against Leicester City. I really to want to put Luis into the team but Azpilicueta did enough to stay in the side but I hope Jose does play Luis in the side at some point in this game as he needs game time and experience to gain confidence and match fitness.

I'd like to see Willian start ahead of Oscar even though I have a feeling that Oscar will start ahead of him again. I was really impressed with Willian's last 20 minutes yesterday.

This is going to be a tough game, so the line-up is going to be crucial for this game. Also it's going to be tough as Lukaku will have a lot to prove against us this weekend.
