JMaher94 1,201 Report post Posted February 24, 2016 Big rumours coming out tonight that Conte is the front runner to be our manager next season and that he wants to sign his former player, Arturo Vidal who has admitted his family are unhappy at Bayern. Di Marzio has also confirmed that Chelsea have an interest and should Conte become our manager that he will push for him. All I can say is a midfield of Fabregas, Matic and Vidal would be absolutely phenomenal. We need to bring back a bit of an Essien character and a bit of strength and Vidal fits the bit. Can take a cracking penalty as well. Only two downsides is that he has had a few injury concerns of late and his discipline is more on the Diego side than the Eden side. In my opinion, he is possibly the best box to box midfield in the world and a huge upgrade on Ramires. 1 kiwi1691 reacted to this

enigma 4,853 Report post Posted February 24, 2016 (edited) oh god, if his alcohol and gambling problems were bad before, they'll get even worse in the hustle and bustle of london with all it's casinos and bars lol however, saying that, and with all the rumours and mutterings, a midfield trio of: vidal naiggolan fabregas would be jizz worthy. RMCM 1,409 Report post Posted February 24, 2016 Back to the days of having a powerhouse midfield Vidal Nainggolan and Fabregas, very in the mould of Ballack Essien Lampard. I'd be all for that. I wonder how likely it is though?
pacquiao 566 Report post Posted February 24, 2016 A midfield 3 of Vidal - Nainggolan Fabregas would be a thing of beauty! World class midfield! 2 Jolly Roger and ShedEnder91 reacted to this
Chelsbear 7,274 Report post Posted February 24, 2016 Doubt Carlo would see Vidal as surplus to requirements. I think he will be a vital player in his Bayern side. 3 RIP Mourinho, PloKoon13 and Scott Harris reacted to this
TheChelsRVA 733 Report post Posted February 24, 2016 A midfield 3 of Vidal - Nainggolan Fabregas would be a thing of beauty! World class midfield! the trick is to attract them with no CL football. If they respect Conte enough they may come. I'm thinking getting Nainggolan would be a stretch. Vidal seems more likely.

Michael440 271 Report post Posted February 27, 2016 This rumor seem pretty BS (like most of the romors). It's probably because Conte is Italian and managed Italian national team. I feel like now Chelsea will be linked with most of Italian players :) But, Why would Bayern sell him now? I also heard that United may be after him too. Just to let you know, he is Chilean and not Italian. But i agree with the point that we'll be linked to a lot of Italians now. 1 candonga reacted to this
JJP 215 Report post Posted March 12, 2016 Highly doubt he'll be coming here unless his relationship with Conte was an extremely good one, and even then I'd doubt it because he hasn't even been at Bayern a full season

JJP 215 Report post Posted March 21, 2016 Cesc beside vidal is promising A box to box player like Vidal is very hard to come by, it would certainly be a good purchase. And he's definitely versatile enough to play in a number of positions in a number of different formations. He's a rare sort of player and would be an excellent acquisition.
