" Jose Mourinho moved a step closer to a major trophy in his first season as Manchester United manager as goals from Juan Mata and Marouane Fellaini secured a first-leg victory over Hull City in the semi-final of the EFL Cup. "

I would actually prefer a Liverpool win to United. It is really something that doesn't mean much but it might give Jose the momentum to really do something in the league by the end of the season. We don't want that.

Reading the City forum about this is pretty funny. The majority of them on there refuse to blame the club for this and think it's the F.A and David Gill just trying to derail their season.

Should be 2-0

Bertrand did brilliantly

Hopefully it doesn't cost them in the 2nd leg. They had their chances to kill the game off tonight.

West Ham United manager Slaven Bilic says forward Dimitri Payet no longer wants to play for the Hammers, but that the club will not sell him.

The 29-year-old France international has regularly been linked with a move away from West Ham.

"We have said we don't want to sell our best players but Payet does not want to play for us," Bilic said. "We are not going to sell him.

Payet joined West Ham from Marseille for £10.7m in June 2015

He can say till he's blue in the face that they wont sell but there is no way they will keep their biggest asset who is soon to be 30 when he doesn't want to kick a ball for them.

Destination is the only question in this.

West ham really are the gift that keeps on giving this season...now payet has demanded to leave...can't blame him wanting to leave the sinking ship...classic that the fans' darling is abandoning them so quickly

Remember when they told us this season was going to be there season because of the amazing new stadium which meant they could attract top players.....Hows that going then you gypo c**ts.....

Came across as a nice bloke...had no luck as England coach and got treated disgracefully by the gutter press...starred in one of the great football documentary's, although it wasn't intentional at the time...recommend people give it a watch at link below
