Leicester Vs Chelsea (PL) Sat 14/01 2017 KO 17:30 GMT

Recommended Posts

Crystal ball predictions for this week here. A couple of unusual ones as usual but it still could well be a team that gets the three points...as the ball has predicted. Here they are:

Chelsea (3-4-3): Collins; Zouma, Ivanović, Matić; Moses, Chalobah (c), Fábregas, Pedro; Willian, Costa, Hazard
Subs: Eduardo, Aina, Cahill, Kanté, Alonso, Ugbo, Taylor-Crossdale

Prediction: Leicester City 0-1 Chelsea (Hazard)

Brad Collins comes in for his second appearance in crystal ball land, while Matić lines up in a back three which also consists of Zouma and Ivanović. Apart from those typical crystal ball changes, it looks like a solid team. Iké Ugbo and Martell Taylor-Crossdale make the bench in a huge leap of faith in the youth team from the boss. Hazard scores to win the match.

In real life, I think we can win this here. It'll be tricky but three points will be the perfect way to bounce back from the Spuds loss. COYB!

We need to be highly charged and pumped up for it ........from the very 1st second of the whistle being blown to the very last second of the match.....we need every man to do show their spirit, do their duty, run, jump and fight with every ounce of their body.

We must never surrender and will fight them on the beaches, in the towns and villages and only then we can stand up and say we gave our all.

At the end of the match, I want to see every Chelsea player rip their shirts off and throw them into the Celebrating Chelsea fans and then I will be happy.

Come-on Chelsea ! Let's have it!!

Ndidi looks scary, this ain't gonna be an easy game i think we will win 2-0 with goals from costa and azza

I think some of us already know about the quality of Ndidi, but he can't stop us from scoring for a whole 90 minutes. But we have players that can stop Vardy, Musa and Okazaki.

Zouma is never going to be good enough, I don't get peoples obsession with him.

Lol, I think the reason most people rate him is because we have been having slow defenders recently whereas unlike others he is fast. But then I still don't rate him. I will easily take Christensen over him.

I like this selection, it's funnier than the last.
Chalobah as captain?

This is a real must win, or at the very worst a draw. Lose this one and the rest will be smelling blood whilst the media start trying to widen the cracks !!

Leicester have hit a bit of form which is a bit worrying but if chelsea seriously fancy that title they should put the foxes to bed

Apparently. We've had so many this year in crystal ball land. Terry, Ivanović, Cahill, Mikel, Loftus-Cheek, Chalobah and Aina have all worn the armband ha ha.

    • think this is a good chance to use willian and Pedro a bit more. Athletico could only manage a draw here, and it will definitely be a lot thougher than at the Bridge not just because we are away but also because now they have played a few games at this level they won't be as nervous. all that said we should be able to get a result. Once we get through the Liverpool game the fixture list is relatively kind for a while and I am hopeful we can be at least in second by New year's day
    • After that Roma cock-up we have no choice but to play our best team, play the same squad we played with on Saturday, just maybe this time with Drinkwater & Moses playing instead.
    •  I just can't agree with Carlo, sacking him was very harsh at the time. I agree with you that the league position definitely didn't tell a full story, we were never for a moment challenging for that title, but we had a f**king dreadful squad who were way past their primes. It was the summer transfer job that ruined that season, a transition was massively needed and we signed 3 players, one of them being a backup keeper.  Regardless Carlo was a superb coach, and sacking him was extremely harsh, in hindsight I like to look at it as a good decision because of what's happened. But come on the club were just harsh, Emenalo was just recently appointed and it looked like we had no idea what we were doing, we had another painful transfer window right after when AVB took the helm. Sacking Carlo for me at the time was incredibly illogical given the fact that we did nothing after it, we should have just given Carlo the money to spend and get the players playing again, backed the manager for a change and see how things turn out. We've never done it, Mourinho was the first one who we did it with and he ended up winning the league the next season. Okay, we had a terrible season right after but sacking managers for trophyless seasons (which we've been doing for years) backfires. Truth be told I think we've changed since then, when we gave Mou his 2nd season we changed, I think we've also changed with Conte, not massively, we are still ridiculously harsh but we've changed. We gave Mou leniency I'm not denying that that's not my criticism, leniency is different to support.
    • I thought it was a troll but this is a user who has been here since 2007, holy cow.
    •   Hmmm top scorer, I also thought he was basically pedro with goals, less refined but useful to keep around.
