Leicester City V Chelsea (FA) Sun 18th Mar 16:30 UK

Marcos Alonso is 95% of our problems. Slow as kcuf, he runs in a jog style even when he is sprinting. Can be beaten at one on one easily like Mahrez did tonight, can’t cross a decent ball to save his life, so slow to sort out his feet at one on one situations like against Barcelona. Imagine we used to have Ashley Cole there.

Alonso is the least of our worries ffs, actually one of our better players

I think the reason for this poor performance is the substitution that Conte made. Bakayoko offered us more defensive work, he made few errors but he showed aggression and covered the area he needed to. Fabregas for some reason been good but we all know his defensive skills.

Leicester is the better team because they attack more, they're more hungry. Just look at Vardy, he's running everywhere, looking for the ball and he just wants to win.

Without Kante we would struggle to finish mid table.

Leicester clearly want this more than us. We're strolling about with little urgency and they have so much more tempo. All our match-winners have gone missing - Willian and Hazard just not showing enough. If only we had 10 Kante' s out there - he's been our best player by a mile.

Wish we had something a bit different on the bench to throw on now - wheres Hudson-Odoi FFS?

COME ON CHELSEA!!!

It seems our plan is to go 1-0 up, sit back wait for teams to come onto us and then hopefully get a second goal on the break.

The problem with that is everything needs to go perfectly to plan, and that clearly isn’t going to happen every week so it’s not a surprise when that plan goes wrong.

If we even went full throttle until we was 2-0 ahead that would make a big difference IMO.

I don’t ever feel comfortable at 1-0 when a mistake or a moment of magic wipes out our lead.

True, and the problem is that we can't play out from the back. We play around with it at the back until it is hoofed away, but there is no pattern, no intent. With poor players trying to implement a pattern that they are not good enough for, in such a dangerous area it is inevitbale that we will always concede. We do we invite the opposition into the final third of the pitch to press us and play football. The result will always be inevitable.

Just got home, someone sum up how we've played today for me.

Started well. Baka was sh*t, so got subbed. Cesc is even sh*ttier and we have been losing the midfield battle for the last 45 mins.

Willian looks like he will fall down any minute now, has stopped running/tracking back which is compounding our midfield issues.

hazard has been anonymous.

leicester look favourites at the moment.

given how the ref has been against us , he would have been sent off

It wasn't the sub that did it, Leicester just upped their game, closed us down quicker and we just stopped playing. Bakayoko was terrible, he didn't show any aggression.

Surprised Conte felt he needed three defenders on the bench and only one midfielder ...
