I wonder if some Chelsea fans were ever able to forgive Le Saux, but he did alright the second time he was with us.

Depends which club the former player went to. Durie and Poyet went to Spuds, so obviously there would be no way back for them, and Diarra & Gallas went to the Arse, same thing applies.

Graeme Le Saux only went to Blackburn, and I for one welcomed him back. Years ago, Charlie Cooke went to Crystal Palace, thanks to Dave Sexton's wonderful management skills, but everyone Chelsea fan was elated when he returned. Same went for Ossie (Southampton), but unfortunately by the time he returned he was way past his best.

Also didnt le saux move because of arguments with the managment (could be wrong on this though) {SMILIES_PATH}/300.gif

I'd take Gallas back just to keep him out of the L'arse side.

I could be wrong as well, but I think Le Saux had problems with lack of match action and got particularily angry once after being subbed and he threw his shirt on the ground, which was too much for some.

Le Saux and Poterfield didn't see eye to eye in terms of Le Saux's ability - Porterfield thought he was a good full back but had a real beef with the gfact that Le Saux's distribution was not as accurate as he would like it to be.  As a result he was often sacrificed (if I recall it was more an issue of taking him off a lot rather than him starting on the bench a lot but I could be remembering that wrong) .

Anyway Le Saux chuckled a wobbler half way through the 92 season when he eas subbed once again and did the whole throwing shirt to the ground and gobbing off at the bench as he left the field.  He was dropped after that and although he did play again it was pretty inevitable his time was up.  I can't remember if Webb was in charge by the time he left or whether it was still Porterfield.

It was definitely Webb who sold him - taking Livingstone in return, allegedly without ever having seen him play.
