The estimate is six weeks, so we'll see him trying a comeback around Boxing Day. {SMILIES_PATH}/icon_rolleyes.gif

Usually I would agree that they over estimate the recovery time for an injury.
But with this one im not sure, unfortunately I dont think we will be seeing him for a month.
Its such a f**king kick in the teeth!

Chelsea FC doctor Bryan English told Chelsea TV: 'An x-ray taken in the Arsenal medical room straight after John left the field didn't show the injury.
What kind of crap equipment do they have at Arsenal?
Surely an x-ray should show if you've got three broken bones?
Probably made in France.

I can't and completely can believe this has happened...again. It seems that we will never get to play for a sustained period with our first choice back 5, and it is driving me up the f*cking wall.

well if carvahlo is back, then having Terry out isn't horrible(yes it is). But who would you rather have in defense, BH and alex, or Alex and Carvahlo. This season is all too reminicent of last season. Damn you to hell arsenal!
and has anyone noticed theres an arsenal fan on the forum here?

I was referring to Terry's eagerness to play even when he's clearly not fit to do so. {SMILIES_PATH}/icon_wink.gif
He just doesn't seem to have the patience to get himself properly matchfit.

whether he was matchfit against the arse, personally I think he was getting close, was irrelevant...it was a terrible challenge that caused the injury, not terry's fitness
I wasn't suggesting that it was Terry's fault that he got injured. {SMILIES_PATH}/actions1.gif
I was just talking about his attitude towards his personal injuries in general. Sometimes it feels like the doctors' estimations are just some sort of personal challenge to him. I mean it seems like he just has to at least attempt to make a comeback well before the estimated time set by the doctors, whether or not he's truly anywhere near match fitness. I applaud his will to fight for the team, but sometimes a proper rest might do him some good. {SMILIES_PATH}/icon_wink.gif
