Does any techie type know how you can download these clips from youtube then save and play them on a mobile phone?

That looks like a pretty simple way to rip from youtube. Ofcourse you need to convert the ripped file with the FLV-converter so you can download it and play it on your mobile, but you can get that software from that link also.

There are programs that can rip it straight into pretty much any format you want, but those cost money. Here's one:

Although, that one seems to have a free trial version available, which might suit you just fine if you just want to rip a few videos now for your mobile. But if you think you have use for such a program later on, you might want to use one of the free ones. Just google "youtube ripper" and look at the alternatives. Those two I've mentioned are just the few examples I thought might suit your needs.  {SMILIES_PATH}/happy0034.gif

I haven't tried these so I have no idea how well they work, but they seem simple enough. Well the first one at least. I didn't actually download the DRM-removal software or the FLV-converter, mind you.

Did you see how Setanta was trying to campaign before the game about how professional and dedicated their team is.  I mean seriously, your campaign means nothing to me, my football addiction is why you continue to get your money.  I do enjoy the JM commentary, funny stuff.
