I always take these surveys with a pinch of salt, but I had to laugh when I saw this league table which monitors the noise level at grounds...Anfield, the supposed home of the best fans in the country, are way down the pecking order, whereas we are ina reasonable sixth place, which is higher than i thought what with all the glory hunters...

Their atmosphere is a bit like the Loch Ness or UFOs... spoken about an awful lot but never really witnessed.

An atmosphere is a layer of gases that may surround a material body of sufficient mass.
That's why the CSR piss up has a good atmosphere

And Man U a notch below the scoucers. The rat munchers will still claim that they are the best in the land however, and say that this study was done by a "london friendly media" and claim that they are the best because of their one loud cheer against us in teh CC final...which they still went on to lose! HAHAHAHA

There was plenty of atmosphere at Anfield the other night. The boos were coming through loud and clear.

I find the league table a bit hard to believe.
Whitehart lane really isn't that noisy when I've been - don't they play music whenever spurs score? (though maybe it's changed and maybe it's 'cos I've only seen Chelsea win there!) maybe that big drum brings them up in the table.
Likewise with Villa park which always seems a bit dead (but again when I've been it's always been such a poor game).
The article makes a good point about the premier league anthem spoiling the atmosphere at games.
