What a good article, thanks for posting.
Not sure I buy into the whole 'he doesn't speak Russian' though. Unless he and RA speak another language all together, of course. But they seem to chat a lot and an interpreter is never mentioned.

Normally when somebody makes something up it is because they have something to gain from it. I'm not sure I can see what Avram's father or the Jewish chronicle has to gain by making up he doesn't speak Russian.
Very interesting article, good find Superdan. Nice to get a bit of insight into the man from somebody who actually knows him rather than people who have an axe to grind.

I would imagine they both speak pretty decent English!! Pretty sure Abramovich doesn't speak Hebrew and there's no way Grant would speak y*ddish if his mum was Iraqi (it's a European language!)
Despite the anti Grant chants at the bridge I've not heard any anti-semitic chants - I think that was the journalist going a bit over the top, unnecessary in the article.
