Change in football,as we all well know....
.... generally isn't welcomed.
While I'm waiting to hear the exact day/kick off time of our game against Barnsley (so I can sort my train fare out, etc)
I was thinking.....if television companies want to show their live game at the weekend, why not change the old rule and let them show a 3 o'clock kick off??
In the top division, how much damage can it really do these days?
5:15pm/12:45pm tele kick offs......
......Are not that popular with away supporters....
....so why not change it and have that game,at the traditional time of 3 o'clock?
It would make the travelling away supporters's lives so much easier, and the TV companies wouldn't be losing out on anything.
The idea of all the four quarter final games, being shown over two days,at staggered times to suit the TV companies, isn't really good for the supporters.
If they want to show them all, thats fine, but lets have them all at the same day and time.
Just a thought!

As a person who travels over 5-6, maybe more, times a year for games I agree mate. A couple of times games have changed to Sunday and I've had to change flights and hotels. A 3 o'clock Saturday would also mean I could fly in Saturday morning and only have one hotel/stay with a mate night also making life easier. Most people who go to games will always go to games even if it's just to avoid listening to certain commentators.
Another example of the game being run by people who know f**k all

You're right Glory, but the powers that be don't give a sh*te how difficult it is for you to get to and from games.
