Still waiting to go to a game ;)
Tickets will be 10 a penny soon, and RA will be laying on free flights for our 'overseas customers' to keep up our profile.

It was Chelsea - sheff wed at the bridge in 1999 just before new year, my dad took me down as a xmas present to see proper football, great match 3-0 the blues in the end sitting in the unfinished stand with no roof in the rain with the telly pundits in a box above us. Can't remember completely but I think wee zola was subbed on in the 2nd half back in the days of Vialli, great game and memories.

First game was just recently, Chelsea vs Borough when we won 2 - 0 with Kalou scoring both. That day was luckily enough to stuble by a certain england/chelsea captain JT and got a photo and autograph. Bit of a lucky first game eh.

I have yet to step foot in England, let alone the Bridge :) so my first ever Chelsea game that I watched was in 2002, we won 3-2 against Blackburn, I believe. Followed the Blues only in CL a couple of years later. Not much football coverage around here, we usually only get CL football and Premiership Saturdays in the morning (now it's three games each Sat, with a game Sunday, 5 years ago you were lucky to catch one). But I'm planning a trip to London in February and I will try my best to attend a game, the only issue could be money.

First game seen was '70 FA cup v dirty Leeds on telly and first visit to the Bridge was the next season against Ars*nal, we won 2-1 and John Hollins got goal of the season IIRC, crowd was something like 53,000,
Funny thing was, about 20 yrs later I was serving in Germany where we had a gooner supporting storeman who was at the same match seeing his team for the first time. Small old world isn't it!

It kind of stays with you doesn't it, even all these years later I still get a buzz just being around the place, the smells, bustle and atmosphere is addictive. I'm pleased I got my son hooked too!

Yes indeed ................how we forget we were the only ground in the country with 3 standing floodlights !!!!

Still wish they never pulled down the West Stand

I think I beat you all for the most recent first game! I am alot younger than alot of you.

Two seasons ago against Newcastle right after Christmas. Avram Grant was in charge. I think Kalou scored a last minute goal to make it 2-1 win.

Joey Barton had also just been jailed so I had the pleasure of hearing the first ever 'can you hear us in your cell?' chant.

I think it the 93-94 season, cheslea v newcastle it was 1-0 to the blues and Dan Petrescu scored around the 25th minute if I rememeber!

The high point of the game was a bust  up in the second half! I think keegan was sent from the dug out!!

April 2004, Bolton v. Chelsea, C. Cole scores and Chelsea wins 1-0.  Ranieri was in charge.  The wife was with me, and we had a great time.

My first game was a night game against leeds. Sat in the west stand and had a restricted view. Not 100% sure when it was but i think it was 97-98.

Chelsea 1-4 Man Utd... not such a happy day after all! Just remember some bloke kept saying "DON'T PASS THE BALL TO FURLONG!"

My first and only Chelsea game has been LA galaxy V Chelsea when pretty boy made his debut for LA . All the americans in that stadium had come to click him and the best moment i remember was Sidwell bringing him crashing down . But that experience was surreal ! Probably makes guys like most people in here imagine how lucky they are to visit the bridge every other week . I also met the players up close when they were training at UCLA so maybe thats a bonus !

Been to a few games, the bridge is not far from me but only really get to go to matches that go on general sale as i dont have a membership and games are quite expensive for someone my age :), but hopefully i'll go more often in the future. My first game i went to was against notts county in the carling cup back in 2003 when we beat the 4-2.

April Fools day 1972 away to Ipswich.... Ipswich 1 Chelsea 2 (a Webb double if memory serves me correctly).

I went with a mate and his dad, we were both seven and were convinced it was an April fool when he said on the Saturday morning that he was taking us to the Chelsea match...  we thought we were being taken to see Colchester again - which had been a regular treat/punishment*!!  But, no it was the blues that we both supported (since 1970 final) we were going to see this time around.
